i hear you but that is part of the reason the Panthers came about.  There will be a strong contingent of loyal long term Skins fans in the Carolina's, however most newcomers to the states will be Panthers fans. Also you might want to rethink that answer if the new stadium is up 66...........as a matter of fact put it right next to Nissan Pavilion.

 

Most newcomers to the state will probably remain fans of the team they grew up with.  If a diehard Broncos fan moves to NC, they won't convert to the Panthers.  Most of the diehard Panther fans in NC are from or near the Charlotte area.   The Panthers do not have a strong influence over most of the state.  Bank of America Stadium has more Redskin fans than Panther fans when the Redskins come to visit. 

 

If the Redskins moved to Richmond, I guarantee you that NC fans will fill the ticket void left by any fair-weathered Maryland fan who jumps to the Ravens.

Having grown up in Waldorf, I think people in Charles, St. Marys and PG County will still go to the games if the stadium is in Virginia.  I still think it would be a shorter drive then having to go to Baltimore from southern MD.  I remember going to some O's games at Memorial as a kid and it was a pretty long drive. Fans are fans.  I mean, I've lived in TN, FL, VA and now SC since I went away to college and I never changed teams.

If we could have the kind of run the Ravens have had the last decade or so, nobody's going anywhere. You gotta give people a reason to stay. Turmoil, chaos, and losing ain't gonna do it. Location and proximity is a red herring, IMO.

So much truth in this yet totally ignored. You know who kids like to cheer for? Their daddy's team and winners. Good thing us redskins fans keep having kids!

That's crazy, I'm in the desert and it's 83 with 29% humidity...and it's raining. Feels pretty good, but if I had to choose, I'd pick to be where ever that chick is pouring water on herself.

 

Happily married, but just sayin'

Haaa where's a good place to move out to the east coast to be closer to my beloved Redskins?..both my wife and I make 9 an hour and are very close to adopting a child we had placed in our foster care a little over a year ago...sorry in advance if this dont belong here

For God sakes DON"T make the  mistake of moving to Maryland. They have just passed a new state law that you and all future generations will be required to become Ravens fans. It is still being argued if the law will extend to nieces and nephews.
