Some of our fans always seem to get mad at useless rankings like this every year but 90% of the time they are right. Past 20 years we only have two division titles, four playoff appearances and two playoff victories. Not exactly a team anyone should give the benefit of the doubt to. SkinsFTW Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 LOL, our kicker makes his 18th chipshot in a row, our coverage actually covers a kick and we run the clock out at the half instead of passing and letting the Eagles get another TD and we're 12 or so and they are 15. Rankings don't really matter until January and we're about as close to 3-0 and a 1-2 team can be. We actually have +17 in points, better than almost all the 2-1 teams and thats after 2 kicks returned on us and the egg laid in wk 1. Well put on the media conspiracy thoughts. Also useless rankings. Your thoughts on why we rank where we are though are off base. Two titles in 20 yrs ....so what. 2/4 playoff vinctories...so what. When it comes to useless rankings I prefer to think the media holds us in higher regard thus the lower ranking(sarcasm). Another consequence of being a skins fan is knowing that the mediots will only give props if we put forth overwhelming win/loss records AND stats. Maybe it's a psychological bias on my part, but when it comes to the writers, announcers, and even the league itself, the Skins seem to always get a bad deal.
