My guesses as of now:

New England- LB coach Jerod Mayo

Las Vegas- Interim/LB coach- Antonio Pierce

Tennessee- Slowik

Washington- Johnson

Atlanta- Belichick

LA Chargers- Harbaugh

Carolina- Vrabel ** I really hope if Carolina gets stuck and they offer the job to Morris he turns it down.

Seattle- Quinn

I still think Reich ends up as OC in Chicago.

Macdolald and Morris will be the two big names out there who will get stuck without a chair.

Atlanta is interviewing people left and right. If after meeting the RR, BB doesn’t get the job; he will be left out.

By the end of the week, at least a couple of the remaining 6 should be filled.

Yeah, it's possible.  I think at the end of the day, Bill will land in Atlanta.  But who knows.

Assuming Harbaugh ends up in San Diego, I could see Atlanta going in a variety of ways if they don't hire Belichick.

More important for Atlanta than the coach, or as important, is who they're going to get at QB.  They're sitting there at 8, so they won't have a shot at one of the top 3 QBs unless they make a move up.

How this ties into the coach is whoever lands there has to be immediately worried they're not going to last more than 2 years unless they figure out the QB.  That makes the job less appealing.

If they could go sign Cousins or trade for Fields, that makes the job more appealing.  Assuming the Bears select Williams with the #1 overall pick and trade Fields.

If it's a defensive coach, they have to have a REALLY good plan on what they want to do with the offense and at QB.

So we'll see.  My gut still says Bill will land there, but they could decide to go with somebody younger. If I was Slowik, I'd turn down the job unless he knows who the QB is going to be.

As a general comment, the NFL has actually done a really good job making it ok for teams to take their time with the searches.  It use to be like a derby.  The new rules allow teams to be more patient.

I'm a bit surprised the Falcons haven't hired Bellicheck yet while also being surprised that he hasn't garnered more interest. I guess everyone wants the fresh young minds now.

I think Bill’s record without Brady is hurting him plus he at least want to work with someone he likes.

I think if Atlanta hasn’t hired by Friday; he’s not getting the job.

Bill seems like he’d be better with an established qb , one on team already or that can be acquired.

Think next year will have openings more suited for him and actually might do him good to take a year off.

New England- LB coach Jerod Mayo

Las Vegas- Interim/LB coach- Antonio Pierce

Tennessee- Bengals OC Brian Callahan

Washington-

Atlanta-

LA Chargers-

Carolina-

Seattle-

Finally got our first offensive guy hired.   Actually, looking at the openings still out there besides Atlanta; maybe San Diego is the only other realistic option for BB and they haven't touched him.  BB's best shot will be next year with possible openings in Dallas, Philly, Both New York teams, Chicago, Tampa and New Orleans. Unless the Pegulas are tired of losing to KC in the playoffs and dump Mcdermott; BB likely has to wait until next year.

Really the only mystery left is Atlanta.

Seattle looks to be Quinn.

For us, it looks to be Johnson or Morris or Macdonald .

Who is Atlanta hiring?  If it was Bill, he would’ve been hired but the power structure there doesn’t want to give that up; so Atlanta not going with Bill.

Bill will have to see what happens in 24.

Well my Atlanta question has been answered as Rams DC Raheem Morris is the Falcons new coach.  Wow, everything has fallen into place for Ben Johnson to be our coach. Only thing stopping that is if Ben decides to stay with Lions again.

Wonder if Bill will be humbled by the Atlanta rejection and the fact no one else even wanted to interview him?  Next year will probably be his last chance and there might not be many,  if any team

Willing to give him the setup he had in New England.  If he wants to Coach next year, he just may have to accept whatever front office structure there is.

What are Ben's feelings on coming here? Would you guys rather the Lions lose out now or continue forth? Do you think that helps or hurts us?

Should make no difference but if Lions fail to win, maybe he wants to finish the job and stay?

If he wants the job, it should be his.

I tend to find it amusing when teams — the Falcons in this case — hire failed coaches with the hope that their previous failure was just an aberration. There are occasional successes I suppose, but for the most part they fail the next time around too.

I’d hate to be a Falcons fan right about now because you have to expect you’ll be on the same coaching search path in about three years.

Once the hiring process is over will

post my thoughts on each hire.

If the buzz about Andy Reid retiring after his season is over comes true; there will be one final opening.

You don’t have the three non SB winning teams dumping their coach?

Onto 2025, unless Andy Reid retires after the Superbowl.   Better watch out in Dallas, Philadelphia, NY Giants, NY Jets, Buffalo, Chicago, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Jacksonville. How those teams 2024 season goes could put those coaches on the hot seat.
