Most weapons were strong, some were challenging, a select few sucked. I'll discuss the guns in general later. First gotta get to the M1216 and XPR-50. The M1216 is a beast. Firestorm of pellets. Long barrel and laser works fine. Such a good deterant in crazy situations, you can play extremely loose with this thing. The XPR is my most effective sniper rifle. About the same 1 hit kill area as the Ballista, except it's semi-auto and can quickly make up for hitmarkers. The recoil isn't bad for how strong she is, and a nice 8 round mag. This is the Executioner with silencer and red dot sight. 30-8 The SVU sniper with the Acog, silencer and fast mags, is essentially a hybrid AR/sniper rifle. Other than screwing around on Blops 2, I've been playing some Cod4. Game is SO good. Very clean. Three problems, people still love the tube, last stand and martyrdom on there. Martyrdom is so lethal, and last stand is such a ****...wow. The tube is the third-worst problem. Still, game manages to be a ton of fun. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chew Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 welp, i never had the confidence in myself to even try it, but after watching a ton of youtube videos about tips on getting a nuclear, i'm gonna go for it. When going for the nuclear, a lot of folks run uav, counter uav, and orbital vsat. I really like that setup. if you've got all 3 in the air at once, you get like 50 assist points per team kill!! unreal. once you hit the vsat, the killstreaks pretty much cycle through over and over again from all the assist points. stroker or anybody else...any tips on a nuclear class? i'm thinking scav is a must, ghost, flak jacket? d0ublestr0ker0ll Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Teams with their **** together always spam the uav, cuav, vsat combo. They'll throw some emp systems in there for good measure. If you've got a decent party, try convincing everyone to slap those streaks on. When it looks like you guys will crush, you don't even need ghost - or a silencer for that matter. You all will be putting up too many cuavs for them to shoot down. In FFA I go with the hardline/lightweight combo, because it takes 5 kills in a row for just 1 player to get a uav (4 with hardline). Ghost just isn't very useful in FFA. Get your vsat around 10-0 and you could be on your way. Just keep an area on lockdown, tossing betties or planting claymores every time you pick up a scav pack. Note: you can only have 2 out at once...tossing a 3rd piece of equipment makes the 1st one you planted disappear. I think the biggest thing for me was not putting any pressure on myself til I was around 17 kills in a row. Play the game and have fun, until you realize you're putting something good together. For the first time, 3 people hate-messaged me, after one FFA game in MW2. I was duel wielding UMP45s, lol. Just putting together random classes. Played some 1v1 in Cod4...of course I get a hacker in one game where he's sniping from outside the map. Beat him 10-8. He got a pretty hilarious message from me afterward about the ownage that just took place. Also beat a max prestige kid 10-0. Springfield Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 I'm still playing. Working on getting the AR's diamond. There are some guns in there that I really can't stand. So far, I have the AN, FAL and M8A1 all gold. I'm working on the SCAR right now. The rest of the guns are either just ok or completel crap. Not looking forward to the MTAR or SWAT at all. I usually run with QuickDraw and silencer on my guns. It's not as much fun when I can't hit the AGR, VSAT and Escort Drone at least once a match. I struggle with some of those guns. Snipe in TDM, rush in objective games, get bored fast. The MSMC and PDW have been nerfed too much, the connection problems are out of control, I've lost interest. From simple lag to disconnecting from lobbies to not connecting to games. It's a shame when you can't play a handful of matches without encountering mind bending lag in more than one. This game has been out for more than 6 months for god's sake. Also, something else that's frustrating... If I'm the host of a match, every once in a while I will lag out and it will find a different host... Then I get kicked from the game. It's happened dozens of times to me. I'm usuing wifi but I don't think that's it really. If I run a bandwidth speed test on my phone in the same room, I usually get at least 10 down and 8 up. That should be more than fast enough. Game is getting stale pretty fast. I've got the season pass, so I'll probably pick up the sticks again and rock some Blops 2 when the new DLCs come out, but I haven't logged many hours lately. Still fun and all, but for some reason its just now as fun as it was 6 months ago. Weird, because this is my favorite COD ever (love the 10-point class system), but other COD games were still fun 6 months after release, but I'm bored of Black Ops 2 already. Whether it will kick everyone back to the lobby, or actually look for a new host. Worst is when the screen goes black and it quickly sends you, alone, back to the dashboard. That **** usually happens when I'm 25-0 with a swarm saved, having just finished a multi kill. Nope, playing too well, I'm gone. What is it with this game? This is a lot worse than COD4, connection-wise. That game is from 2007. David Vonderhaar or whatever comes off as completely ignorant towards the hardcore COD players. Never changed the score to 125 xp per kill for TDM or FFA, gave us a DLC gun in the first pack - but never again. Patched the living hell out of this game, looks like a pair of hippie jeans, but the connection problems leaves a hole right where this game's hairy ass is. Guy seems like he doesn't give a ****. Mostly Madden and the fact that most defensive players are Superman-esque on all madden difficulty. I RAGE over this game. I can't play hardcore anymore - I have to play core otherwise there is absolutely no enjoyment. That is why I am in such awe when you guys post nuclear videos. I'm never going to be able to do that, because of game mechanics, skill, whatever the case may be. I can't. I've tried. My best was 23-0, host migration this weekend and then I can't kill anything the entire rest of the match. I'm going to prestige master (prestige 10-45), I'm going to play the DLC because I paid for it. Then I am done with COD. I should have never left BF3. Division looks good on the PS4. HC domination on there will make you wanna break expensive china and kill somebody with the shards. Somehow this girl owns at it. I was having games like 50-45 and ****. Bullets going through 2 walls dropping me, mistakingly popping retards on my team til I get kicked. **** you. We also play Arms Race (TDM with every kill counting as +150xp). It's actually pretty cool, getting streaks is cake. The SMR with select fire and fast mags is my new favorite TDM gun. Hardcore definitely has its plusses. Kill feeds are ridiculously fast. Getting a triple kill with a 6 bullet spray is absolutely amazing. Getting kills through walls is so easy that if I'm not engaged and in good position, I'll just start blasting walls and pick up a kill or two. Hardcore kill confirmed is 100x better than regular kill confirmed. It's one of my absolute favorite game modes. People run around like mad. Just UAV, Counter UAV, Orbital VSAT. all I do is run around ghost, lightweight, marathon, a silenced PDW, and spam team-oriented killstreaks. My SPM has gone from 323 to 367 in just a few days, and I'm loving it. Even though I might have over 10 less kills than a teammate, I'm still at the top of the leaderboard due to all the assist points from the non-lethal killstreaks. Really fun. Having a K/D over 2 is extremely difficult on PC because of the number of gamers out there with extreme accuracy using a mouse (been a competitive gamer for over a decade).
