Enter Apotheosis
Eric Winston @ericwinston Unfortunately I have bad news. The Texans have decided to release me today. Although it is a surprise, I have nothing but positive memories https://twitter.com/#!/ericwinston/status/179336705952854017 Well, I didn't see that coming and I don't think Texans fans did either. This is one of the few times you will ever see me say this but... for the right price? Yes, please. DWinzit
Is he any good? Why would the Texans cut him? Texans informed RT Eric Winston of his release. The shocking move clears $5.5 million in base salary. Winston hasn't missed a start since his 2006 rookie season, and has been a key cog in the Texans' highly productive zone-blocking scheme. Despite the release, Winston won't have trouble exceeding what the Texans were going to pay him on an incredibly thin offensive tackle market. Only 28 years old, Winston should appeal to other zone-blocking clubs like the Redskins. Pro Football Focus graded Winston as a top-six right tackle last season. He was 11th overall in PFF's rankings.

Enter Apotheosis
Texans cut Leinart, too. Can't fault them for that one, Yates looked as good in limited action as Leinart ever has. That doesn't mean that I think Yates played particularly well, either
