HapHaszard
I posted this up in BRBN but think it should be down here instead. http://www.complex.com/sports/2012/02/video-a-little-used-nfl-receiver-makes-an-unbelievable-catch-while-doing-a-backflip

lazarus0280
Wasn't it a Bengals player who actually had that happen in the endzone this year? Was pretty crazy....so prob could happen in right circumstances...
RiggosMohawk
Granted it won't be as epic as the swinging gate, but combine this with RG3's hurdling skills, and we have the making of an awesome trick play.
Always A Commander Never A Captain
I'm excited. I really really hope Hankerson recovers fully from his surgery. And I'm also hoping that Paul has worked on his routes enough to be in on more passing plays. He's certainly athletic enough for some ridiculous catches. Champskins
Ive been praising Niles Paul since before we drafted him. He's going to be a beast. With his rare size and speed, he'll be dominant! ---------- Post added February-28th-2012 at 04:05 PM ---------- Looks like where I used to play indoor football, Dulles Sportsplex? redskin01fan
Sweet, Hope he learns some routes so he is in the line-up catching passes from R. Griffin III.

CRobi21
I believe that was Keith Eloi that did it first. He was with us a couple years ago. Same guy that jumped out of a pool, and into the flatbed of a pickup truck. Let's hope they are working on routes too.
IONTOP
Same guy that jumped out of a pool, and into the flatbed of a pickup truck. Damn, out of a pool into the bed of a pickup truck? That's gotta be like 8 feet...

Same guy that jumped out of a pool, and into the flatbed of a pickup truck. Let's hope they are working on routes too. Good memory! NFL players are amazing athletes and there are probably 10 guys/team that could do this trick, but unfortunately it doesn't really translate much into playing football. jivelikenice
Impressive but I won't get carried away by a video and how that would translate to on the field. I do think that the Shanahan's should have gotten a better look at Niles as a receiver as the seaason wore on. It could be that the turf toe injury midseason derailed that plan, and it also looked like Rex locked in on the vets and rarely looked his way.... TheRealBigRich
I can see the talent and him eventually being a productive receiver

Manny555
Cool catch, but I had to mute the annoying fella going WOOOO HOOOOO. Thought I was the only one that wanted to mute the video. And like others have said, where this comes into affect in an actual game. I
B&GVol24
First thought that came to my mind when the video opened with them talking was -- "I cannot believe this guy is 22 years old."
Destructis
I am definitely a Niles Paul fan and follow him on Twitter. Also remember he is our gunner on the punting team. He got a penalty for leading with his head this year, but I didn't mind that. Some penalties are ok in my opinion. His penalty was due to being aggressive. Not a penalty I want all the time, but knocking a punt returner senseless is ok in my book. I am rooting for him to make the next steps as a receiver and I think he has a lot of potential.
