Anyway, just wanted to complain that my 1st round playoff opponent is starting 3! players from a crappy Jets team. Sanchez, Greene, and Holmes have 21, 17, and 7 in the first half. :mad: Mods, if the other thread is still in existence could you just merge this? I'm on a 7 game tear right now in the 2nd place league but go up against a guy who has won 6 in a row. Should be interesting to see how it finishes. The Sir Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 First round of the playoffs --> up by 22 points, he's got Steven Jackson going tonight though. So we'll see. Had a tough season. Jahvid Best, Darren McFadden, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne. Those were 4 of my top 5 picks. 3 of them have been cut, and the other is injured hoping he returns next week (assuming I hold on and win). This week at running back, I started Beanie Wells and CJ Spiller. It was ugly. Just recently had to cut Fred Davis due to his suspension. Some of my late draft picks and free agent pickups really panned out, otherwise, I never would have made the playoffs. AJ Green, Cam Newton, Laurent Robinson have done well for me. TheGoodBits Posted December 13, 2011 Author Share Posted December 13, 2011 Pick a defense (season on the line- down by 30 points) Ravens vs SD Seattle vs Bears (with no RB or QB) Titans vs Colts Falcons vs Jags (just put up sick points) Giants vs Redskins Also pick 2-3 RBs and 2-3 WRs: RB options: Foster (playing him) CJ2k (playing against Colts) Helu Mike Turner (he's killing me lately, no more than 7 points in 3 straight weeks) WR options: Jordy Nelson (must start, he's #1 with Jennings out) Marshall (playing Buffalo, who held him to 5yds a few weeks ago) Julio Jones (coming off a huge game on my bench) B Lloyd (can't see starting him since I need big games from people, not consistent average games) Wildcard: CJ Spiller is still listed as both a RB and WR, so I could start 4 RBs if I wanted to. I've never seen a year with so many injuries to big time players. You can't tell me the lockout and "no pads" practices aren't responsible, at least a little bit. Felix Jones at Bucs (Saturday) Roy Helu at Giants C.J. Spiller vs. Dolphins Rashard Mendenhall at Niners (Monday) Steven Jackson vs. Bengals Jackson and Mendenhall are the two most talented and have carried me most of the year but both are facing some ferocious run defenses.
