royallypwned Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 As a thank you to ES for allowing my Cowboy shenanigans on the forum for over three years, I am going to offer a special prize to the winner of this NBA playoff pick em. I will get to the prize at the end of this post. First, the point system. It's pretty easy. For each team you correctly pick to reach the 2nd round, you get two points. Four points for each correct conference finalist. Six points for NBA finalists. And eight points for picking the champ. In addition, you will pick the number of games for every series. You will be awarded one bonus point for guessing any first round series exact number of games correct. If you guess the exact games of a second round series right, you get two points. However, it only counts if you have the exact teams in that matchup correct as well. For instance, if you pick Lakers over Mavs in 6 in the second round, but it's really Lakers over Blazers in 6, then you don't get any bonus. Same applies for the next two rounds (three bonus points for conference finals and four for NBA Finals). I will add the first round matchups to this post tomorrow night when we know them. As a Mavs fan...I want more then anything for them to go and win it all.....ill be rooting for em thats for sure, and this is the one year that I truly do think they will get by all the tough west teams and make it to a "winnable" finals VS the Heat or possibly the Bulls.......But i think once the Heat get it together and they start "winning" in the post season, then its all over for the rest of the league. I think Wade and Lebron are just "that" good".......But trust me, I will be crushed when the Mavs lose it all to the Heat, absolutely crushed! he hate me! ouch Royally....ouch!
