Wall picked his game up in the 2nd half

Not his greatest night, but he still has 15+pts & 11 assists. Wouldn't shock me if he led the league in assists this year.

hahaahh Josh Smith just airballed a wide open 3 horribly

thats the chink in his armor, he falls in love with that shoot too much

it was falling for him earlier though

teams will live with him taking that shot every time

Seraphin played a grand total of 3min 58seconds

Vesely in midseason form with the DNP

They won't be around much longer. Vesely probably only sees action if we get into bad foul trouble or one of the bigs goes down.

Honestly if Harrington and Booker keep playing like they did tonight, I would rather give their minutes to Ves and Seraphin.

Quick thoughts:

Positive:

- Wall turned it around and had an impactful game after a cold shooting start.

- Ariza was a force

- Gortat is really good.  9 & 9 in 17 minutes for a team he just joined a couple of days ago.

- Nene looked good on offense in the first half and he's a pretty good defender.

- Maynor was alright.

That's about all I've got.

Negative:

- Booker was bad.

- Harrington was atrocious on defense.

- Didn't get much from Webster.

- Nene struggled down the stretch.

- Beal made his open shots but was mostly a non factor tonight and had trouble defending Billups.

- Team defense was terrible.

- Couldn't keep Detroit off the offensive glass.

To me, Gortat's impact was one of the most encouraging signs.

Interesting sequence in the 4th: Josh Smith hit a killer 3 and you could see Gortat hang his head on the bench.  Only one to react...  He really cares and I see him being an important locker room guy.  He's probably our second best player and he'll make a big difference for us once he settles in, plays big minutes, and gets comfortable with the other guys.

I really liked that baseline drive where he caught the ball and executed that super quick move to the rim.  He got to the FT line.  It was just really nice and fluid.  He's good.
