sideshow24
Exactly what it was and what instantly came to my mind as i replayed several times and saw that Cooley didn't even fire off the snap. He was a perfect statue until half second after the snap.
ArmchairRedskin
Brooking should have been penalized ten yards for that stupid pregame speech
Popeman38
Actually, it was the guys in the booth who said he was moving forward, not the officials, as I recall. He was not set so that's probably why they threw the flag. I don't think much of NBC football, to be honest. Not very good coverage IMO. The funny thing was that the very next play, Cooley did move forward before the snap. It is what it is. You guys did a good job of doing what you needed to in order to win. Well deserved. Actually, it was the referre who announced to the world that #47 was moving forward at snap.
ABQCOWBOY
Actually, it was the referre who announced to the world that #47 was moving forward at snap. Really, I'll have to watch that again and see if they said moving foward or Illegal Motion.
No Excuses
Brooking should have been penalized ten yards for that stupid pregame speech If he played on my team, I'd suspend him for doing something that embarrassing.
LadySkinsFan
Barron was holding on almost every play. The last hold was so obvious they had to call it. And if Barron hadn't held Orakpo, Romo sits to pee would have been on his ass or face. I saw lots of things go the Cowboys way from the refs. I'm glad we won! ncsuFB27
Did NBC ever do a replay with audio on the Fletcher penalty? I thought I heard them say the whistle was blown while the ball carrier was still up to kill the play but I never heard it and am sure London didn't either. veteranskinsfan
When they showed the replay on Cooley penalty there was no violation- a total phantom call from the official. At least on the last play of the game that official got it right!
Redskin4ever
It was a BS call. He even stopped before the snap. But on the next play, Cooley actually moved forward at the snap. And he opened a big hole for Portis. The only reason I can think they called that penalty, is because the Cowboys coaches were probably on the refs about him moving forward at the snap. So on that one play, the ref was convinced to watch it and call it. He just picked the wrong play. You see that happen in basketball all the time. A coach is all over an official about something, and the next play, you see it called. That's all I can think of on that play, because it certainly didn't happen the way the zebra described it.
