Foreign kids at such a young age in our youth academy's is just wrong. Nobody's telling me there's not similar talent kicking around the streets of Liverpool if we'd just get out and look for it. IF we ever leave the EU, at least this will stop and nobody under 18 will be allowed to sign for any club. Hail. Couldn't agree more. First, I'm sure that you could walk out to a local park and pick 2 or 3 teenagers who have promise AND want to work hard, put them in the Academy, and would very possibly do as well as this young man. Not to put him down, he may be on the way to greatness, but the physical and mental changes from 14 to 20 are enormous. I just look at my son. At 13, he was a little too 'big for his shoes' and somewhat awkward. At 21, he had grown to 6'3", 220 lbs and could run/skate like the wind. His buddy who was always the great athlete in his younger days stayed 5'9" and suddenly wasn't the fastest kid. Hope it works out well for both sides. One of the things I absolutely love about soccer and sport in general is how much of a global language it is. But I'll be damned if following a Welsh team isn't creating a hell of a learning curve on the only language I'm fluent in and have spoken my whole life. Lol I always tell people "I don't speak English, I speak American." and that's never been more readily apparent than now and since I really began taking an interest in the BPL a few years back. GHH I think I can now begin to imagine to a certain degree your experience when starting to follow the Skins. He's the perfect signing. All things being equal he'll bag 20 plus against the piss poor standard of English defending. And it allows you to bring Rashford on slowly. Martial's pace and finishing on the left, Mikyhtarian's ability and finishing on the right. and Zlatan up top is a pretty darn devastating attack.
