mossomo
Click to Continue Reading Will he have a bust in the Hall... “People they tend to say well, ‘You’re gonna be here one day,’ ” Owens said. “Of course, from a statistics standpoint, then yeah, I’ll be here. “But there are going to be a lot of things that probably factor into that. A lot of people are probably going to bring up reputation, character, things of that nature... Let the flaming begin I hope he makes it, he deserves it. gkekoa
He should be in. The numbers speak for themselves and he did it with mediocre QBs as well. At least Garcia was mediocre.
pvkeeper19
He deserves it. At his best, the guy was damn near unstoppable, and he was at the top of his game for quite a long stretch. Character is not a major concern in HOF admission (Michael Irvin, Lawrence Taylor, etc. have shown that), and TO's character issues are far less serious than a lot of other guys. Whether or not you like him, it's hard to say he's not an all-time great receiver.
smiley4284
He deserve a spot in the hall of fame. Even though his off the field antics arent so great, his on the field play was great at times.
GhostofSparta
I may not like TO personally, but the dude's character flaws are pretty tame compared to those in the hall. The voters would be beyond hypoocritical for keeping him out for his off the field antics. TO's never been arrested for drugs, violence, whatever, he's just an ass. But that's almost expected of WRs at this point anyway. Oh, and being a 49er and Cowboy both during his career won't hurt his chances anyway. G.A.C.O.L.B.
TO is a HOFer and it's not even close.
GreenRiggins
He'll get in just not on the 1st ballot unless he kills it this year they will be forced to.
dsciambi
I don't know, I could definitely see him being a 1st ballot. But there's definitely no question he will be in at some point.
Hitman21ST
I don't think he's first ballot worthy, but he'll definitely get in. Depends on who else is eligible when he becomes eligible.

He's a 1st Ballot HOF'er....IMO, he's one of the top 5-7 WR's to ever play the game.
illone
He is definitely in. His attitude has calmed in recent years and I think people will remember how great he is/was when it comes time to enshrine him.

MattFancy
How is TO not first ballot worthy? He's 3rd all-time in receiving TD's. Not only that, but TO was easily the best WR during the '00s.
SkinsDukes
Dislike him as a person, but it's a no-brainer as a player. He is in, likely as a first ballot.
pjfootballer
How is TO not first ballot worthy? He's 3rd all-time in receiving TD's. Not because of his stats, sadly his character flaws will. Depends on if the sportswriters who do the voting love or hate his antics. He'll get it, but I'm not sure if they will vote him first ballot.
