Bliz
Did you see the Man vs Food when he went to New Orleans, and had to eat 15 dozen oysters at Acme Oyster House? It's a pretty popular place. My wife and I stopped in for some Po' Boys the last time we were in NO. They have the wall, with all the challenge winners (including Adam) listed. It also lists their in-house records. So the challenge is 15, anyone care to guess (without googling!) how many dozen oysters the record-holder ate? Also, kudos to that episode for showing him getting the Ferdi at Mother's. One of the top 3 sandwiches I have ever had in my life. Line is out the door every day, but moves fast. If you find yourself in New Orleans, it is an absolute must for lunch one day. Destino
The episode that made my mouth water was when Man vs Food went to Phillippe's French Dip sandwiches in LA.
Mr. Sinister
I absolutely love both of those shows. Can't wait to watch the new season of Man V. Food tonight!!!
ixcuincle
Interesting I think I have seen the No Reservations with DC before on Youtube, before they were all taken down On a related topic Top Chef is starting S7 in DC, contestants serve food at Nats Park and other stuff
chickenlipper
The episode that made my mouth water was when Man vs Food went to Phillippe's French Dip sandwiches in LA. That show made me go and eat there. The sandwiches are tiny and not nearly as good as they looked on the show. You need to eat 3 of them to get your belly full. thebluefood
I love Man V. Food. It is kinda strange, though that a Jewish man like Richman eats so much pork.

Didn't know he was Jewish... then again I just googled him. Didn't know he had a Master's from Yale's School of Drama.

techboy
Didn't know he was Jewish... With a name like Adam Richman, that accent, coming from Brooklyn, and with those looks? Had to be. He's pretty clearly not practicing orthodox though.
chickenlipper
So not worth it? Nope I'll never go back. They were just shut down for a while because of a roach problem too.

Botched
Went to Jumbo Slice the other day. Way overrated. Yeah, it's enormous. It's also ****ty pizza. I tried it for the first time a couple months ago, and I thought it was fantastic. There was enough grease on one slice that I didn't even need to order a drink with it. I can't even imagine.
THEREALTOR1
Im not much of a fan of Food Wars, but Man V Food and No Reservations are two of my favorite shows on t.v. I'm trying to get into the food wars, but I just can't seem to. I think it's the chick that hosts the show that i'm not diggin. (Camille Ford) She's kinda cute sometimes which keeps me tuned in for a few extra minutes, but she just doesn't draw me into the show like Adam and Anthony. She is cute an all but I think at times she try's why to hard and comes off to me as annoying. You know since she is the new kid on the block. :ahhhhh: :noob:

Every time I used to go to Adam's Morgan I would get completely wasted wait in line with my friends to get a Jumbo Slice witch at the time was 5 dollars and devour that **** down!.. I loved Jumbo Slice was just about always my highlight of the night.

thebluefood
Yeah, Food Wars is trying to piggie back off of Man v. Food, especially with the host. It seems like a sad copycat. She doesn't have nearly the same amount of raw charisma as Richman. Pretty woman, no doubt; but she's trying to be female version of Adam Richman.
