G.A.C.O.L.B.
Bernadina won us the game today though, no doubt about it! Yup. No doubt he gets the Silver Elvis today. It's funny I was just about to post that we desperately need a slugging RF to bat 4th to protect Zim and Dunn can bat 5th where he belongs. Then Bernadina goes out and hits two out of the park (he really crushed that last one). He's never gonna bat 4th but still, it was like perfect timing. Larry Brown #43
Awesome stuff DCfan. Bernadina's grab was just filthy, especially given the situation-- tie game, bases loaded, 2 out. Amazing.

Metalhead
Hmm O/U 3.5 perfect games for Strasburg this season? LOL And I was thinking a perfect game with 20 K's in lieu of three would be acceptable
Warhead36
I'd be happy if he could give us a solid 5-6 innings a start while showing progressive improvement, but I guess 20 Ks and a perfect game or three wouldn't be bad!

DCranon21
I missed the game today, but Clip has another win, and Capps with a lead leading 14th save. I see a nickname for Clip and Capps in the near future.

Larry Brown #43
Strasburg pitching against the O's AAA affiliate (Norfolk) tonight-- 6 innings, 0 hits, 1 walk, 0 runs. I think that's gonna be it for him tonight. He's now given up 1 hit in his 2 AAA starts.

theDCfan
We don't need him pitching a no hitter in the minors. We just want him to be prepared. His work load will come the closer he gets. I believe right now he's set for 6 innings or 90 pitches.

StillUnknown
False. Baseball 101, you don't take a player out when he has a no-no going in the minors, thats irrelevant, pitch counts are more important than a no-hitter in the minors on a sidenote, Strasburg has more Triple-A starts, than hits allowed
Larry Brown #43
False. Baseball 101, you don't take a player out when he has a no-no going Dude. He's already had a perfect game going in a previous minor league outing, and they took him out after 6. He's on a strict pitch count. Stop embarrassing yourself.
