Betts go ahead TD they switch the cam over to portis happy clapping his hands celebrating....and once again The fact that Dieon is the least-unbiased reporter they have comes out again ...I Mean seriously 32 teams worth of players out there why can they only seem to find announcers from dallas Sry just had to post b/c i find it disgusting
Metskins
He's not a reporter. He's a talking head. And all these guys have biases, some more than others. You find it disgusting? Lighten up a bit, dude.
x96bryan10
yes i do not so much just the one thing but when you put it with the way he disrespected portis last week when he got injured i do think it is if anything when portis was on screen he should have said something along the lines of "Get Well Soon Buddy "

qbcall11
He is a commentator, not a reporter...the same is often confused in regular news media, he is just doing his job, which is trying to gain ratings...get over it, the quicker u learn that the less u'll care about what he actually has to say
FUBAR
Not to completely defend Deion here (cuz he can be a moron at times)...but I think he might have been alluding to the battle for starting RB that might be developing. Like he (Portis) wouldn't be standing around clapping next week if Betts scores and he's on the sidelines collecting dust. Not sure that this is a big deal dude, he made a comment in passing and not everyone in the media is out to diss us... :2cents::dallasuck:2cents:

So...I don't really know where you were going with that. And how do you know he didn't mean CP would not be clapping next week because CP would be upset about possibly not starting again? You know? Betts getting the carries and CP starts sulking? That is just as a accurate a possibility when taken in context of the clip.
terrifNick21
Who is Deion Sanders?
darklight1216
Deion seems to be particularly biased toward the teams that he played for, and especially the Dallas Cowboys. But then, bias toward Dallas isn't exclusive to Sanders.

Portis's will be crying like a little b@tch when he's on the sideline for the rest of the season watching the back of Bett's arse running out onto the field. WhoRUSupposed2Be
He must still be living lovely off the contract he received here in 2000. Mr. Past his Prime must still have that burgundy and gold suit he wore at the podium also.
Old Dominion Monarch 06
Guys, it's deion sanders... I care more about what the inbred welding next to me at work thinks about Portis than I do deion.

skinsfanjoe
I seen that and didn't know what to think. Deion is a horrible commentator. He was ranting about how he's not worried about New England because they dominate teams. This despite the fact that they just blew a 17 point lead and lost their third game of the season. He's an ass, he has very little football knowledge despite playing in the league for so many years. Honestly, I question if he isn't drunk or high half the time. I have no respect for this man as a player or as a commentator. He was a stain on our proud franchise and could never hold a candle to the classy Darryl Green. SCREW YOU DEION!!! Koolblue13
Portis is a team player, he will be clapping regardless if we are winning. That's something he has always done. He even said that Betts could be the starter and the team wouldn't lose anything. Stop listening to Dieon and getting worked up.

HailGreen28
I get the impression Dionne was talking about the Pukes game next week. I've heard him praise Jerrah and the Pukes enough on NFL network.
RabidFan
Deion is ten times the commentator over Irvin and Emmitt....you're right in the fact there are WAY too many former Boyz on tv....Aikman does a great job but his partner sucks.....Moose is ok but boring as hell....Deion is palpable but Irvin and Emmitt are all about themselves so much they make Theisman and Esiason seem humble. Jofizz
Which is more stupid, his comments, or the fact that someone made a thread over them?
veteranskinsfan
Dieon really fleeced the Redskins owner when we signed him. He did not do much of anything for us. He was a total bust. He is terrible on NFL Network. I turn down the sound. He is better than Michael Irvin but that is not saying much is it.
SKINZROCKBABY!
Me-ion Sanders hasnt had anything relevent to say concerning Football since he went on air imho. He should probably go back to his true calling of giving bad draft advice to college players
