(I don't have strong feelings about attacking Afghanistan.) Frankly, I'd consider him far more dangerous to this country than Daddy was, and Daddy's the reason I started voting Democrat. (Maybe the criteria for Bush are based on where he says his positions are, as opposed to where the laws he signs are.) I'll confess, many of my answers, I picked one based on "well, it kinda fits, and everything else looks worse", so that might explain distorted results. I will say that after reading Edwards and Dean, I'd say I should stick with my original prefference of voting for Dean. I still debate voting for Kerry because he would seem to have a better chance of winning in my mind, but Dean definitely shares more of my views and priorities. FWIW: First President I voted for: Ford. Second President I voted for: Ford (write-in). I like what he did for the economy (he left it the heck alone.) I liked that he pardoned Nixon: He was right - it helped close out a situation that would've divided the country for another decade. And, I honestly believe he knew it would hurt him in the election, (he may have thought it wouldn't hurt him enough, but you don't get to the Senate without knowing something about politics), and did it anyway. (And, any politician that does something that's good for the country, knowing it'll cost him at the polls, deserves something.) Larry, the fact that you're 100% in agreement with Kucinich according to that is probably more telling. I have no doubt from those results that you're not voting for Bush in the next election! I really think it's unlikely. As I said, I can't think of a single thing he's done in office I agreed with. (And Afghanistan's about the only thing I can think of, where I'm not shure he's wrong. As to Iraq, I think he's wrong, but it's theoretically possible he could change my mind.) (That's why I'm surprised when it says I agree with him.) Gotta admit: Don't know a thing about Kucinich. Only thing I know about Dean is that he's supposedly in favor of gay marriage and opposed to gun controll, and I agree with both positions. Kurp, You know what Churchill said, "If you're 20 and aren't a liberal, you don't have a heart. If you're 40 and aren't a conservative, you don't have a brain..." I dunno about this poll. Somehow Bush came out slightly ahead of the Libertarian candidate, even though i stated i didn't care about the abortion issue, I have no problem with cloning embryos, and I thought drug sentences should be reduced or eliminated, and I want the US to follow a more non-interventionist policy.
