The Fourth King
I'll miss him...he was a Redskin through and through. Purely business. I hope that he gets to go to a good team (not in our division).
addicted
I hope Springs leaves regardless, forget the pay cut. Springs has been on the record this offseason saying he won't take a paycut and I see no reason to doubt him. I hope he's the next one cut
DJD2
Damn - one of my faves but understandable. Does he have anything left in the tank?
BAMBAM30
iTS DEFINITLY TIME FOR HIM TO GO...BUT i'M SURE GONNA MISS THE INTENSITY HE BROUGHT WHILE ON THE FIELD
nightbird
Farewell Marcus, thanks for some awesome memories. I just hope Snyderatto knows what to do next, because HB Blades and Khary Campbell aren't the answer at strong side OLB.
CM916
No surprises here, we just couldn't keep him on the field the last year or two. I will miss that little dance he did after making a big play.
Hiro
Annnnddd that's the first jersey of mine that becomes obsolete. I'm defintely going to miss seeing this guy jumping around hollering on the field.

MattFancy
He was a great high energy guy who made some great plays, but just couldn't stay healthy the last few years. Thanks for the great years Marcus!
texasthunder
Good solid move by the front office. Thanks Washington for being a vital part of two playoff runs and for not being a FA bust like others. Sometimes in business you just have to make hard decisions like this, its the right thing to do. Now get Taylor and Springs outta here Sorry, hate to disagree with a fellow texan, but I would much rather see Taylor stay (for less money of course), but the man played good towards the end of the year, and now he has had some time to fully recuperate, he should be able to contribute alot more. TK
My favorite Redskin and hero of all time is gone. I am now dead. I knew you'd take this one hard. But chin up, 24 will be on again in a few days.
abdcskins
Props to my boy Marcus, I enjoyed watching him play, but it was obvious the past couple years that he had lost something. Some times after 30 some players just lose it, and I think he falls under that category.

georgiaredskin
I knew you'd take this one hard. But chin up, 24 will be on again in a few days. Thank you for your empathy. It will help to watch it, for sure. But I will feel dead for a long while. I just cannot imagine a Marcus-less Redskins. I miss him so much already. No wonder Marcus, his namesake cat of ours, has been acting whack lately. I don't know who I am anymore and neither does he!
