mjah
Fantastic. Not so much laugh-out-loud funny as jaw-on-floor funny. Sadly, the people most in need of that lesson are also the least likely to hear it.
ChocolateCitySkin
the unedited section where bill o'reilly harasses the guy on the bus and then transitions the segment to news media harassing people is one of the funniest things i've seen in a while. Bang
For those who insist that the Daily Show will fold up shop now that the Democrats are in office... Well, so much for that. The 4:50 mark is some seriously funny stuff. Now maybe you'll understand. Satire is satire, and if it's done well it doesn't have a tilt. And frankly, I don't know that there's ever been a better satire than the Daily Show. ~Bang

Peeping Wizard
The funny thing about Fox News vs MSNBC or CNN is that the average viewer of Fox knows they lean to the right and is ok with it. The average viewer of MSNBC or CNN actually believes that those networks don't lean to the left. The denial is stunning.

There is no such thing as news without bias, at least the Fox people seem to admit that. I find it annoying that the other networks try to act above it when clearly they are not. I find it annoying that the other networks try to act above it when clearly they are not. MSNBC during the inauguration was open about how liberal they were. Chris Mathews even said "We played a part in this, this is why people love us." He made numerous references to how they supported Obama. The Daily Show made fun of it. So they were open about it. Does that solve the problem?

Which network is trying to act above it when clearly they are not? MSNBC and Fox News are equally biased IMO. CNN less so, but still obviously left leaning. But your generalizations about whether most or all viewers of any network understand that what they're watching is biased (and how much) holds no water. Unless you can point to some polls or something regarding attitudes of regular viewers toward those stations.
Duckus
I asked this in another thread....and no one answered (shocking): Lou Dobbs on CNN had an entire segment yesterday called "The Road to Socialism." Openly talking about how this stimulus bill was a road to socialism. The NYT ran a devastating Op-Ed piece on Tom Daschle the day before he stepped down. It has been wildly reported that the editorial criticizing him was one of the reasons he called Obama to remove his name for consideration. These are example from the last 2 WEEKS, of the most horrible liberal media (both TV and print), CNN and NYT, hitting the Dems very hard. Please find me anything like these two examples from the past 2 weeks, that FoxNews has done but liberal leaning. Thank you. (Now I agree that MSNBC = Foxnews. That is 100%. I even agree that CNN leans left, but not to the degree that many claim)
