Mickalino
This will never happen, and most you will laugh this off, and it's only wishful thinking, but I think it's fun to fantasize about this guy singin with Zep, if Plant don't..... He's got the range, has the raspy voice, and even looks like Plant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZNzb8Rr-A0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXL4ToKDczE
BleedBNG
He's got the range, has the raspy voice, and even looks like Plant. Uhhh, not now he don't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkxGPQOsN2A&feature=related Others could be Sammy Hagar, Myles Kennedy, Steven Tyler (best choice IMO), or go female with Ann Wilson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fxw0gi1njRY&feature=related On second thought... scratch Wilson. Looks too much like if Rosanne had just joined Zeppelin. Or this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWUtrcyCzhI
Mickalino
Uhhh, not now he don't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkxGPQOsN2A&feature=related That's what I was afraid of (I havnt heard him sing recently) That was both painful and sad, to watch (and hear)
Mickalino
Others could be Sammy Hagar, Myles Kennedy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPNnBisii1M&feature=related I am a HUGE Myles Kennedy fan, and that's a HUGE understatement, but his version of Kashmir has convinced me he has no business doing Zeppelin. Yeah, I agree. The group will probably go with Coverdale or Tyler if it happens.
DeanCollins
Yeah, I agree. The group will probably go with Coverdale or Tyler if it happens. even though I think Tyler could do a better job, he doesn't take his performance seriously enough and jokes around because he thinks he's cool. so I'd vote for Coverdale. thehogs
Coverdale, Plant, Ian Gillan....all their voices are shot for that kind of singing. Their top range has gone and I fully support Plant not doing this. Its done and time to move on (30 years on!! a long time done!). One of the few guys left that had astonishing range and power in his hey day and can still make something of it all is Ronnie James Dio but his voice doesnt work with Zep stuff. DeanCollins
Lou Gramm, if he's healthy, would be great fit. His vocal range and talent are amazing. I haven't heard the new Foreigner cd though. Paul Rogers, if not already involved with Queen, would also be able to pull it off. edit: lou gramm is toast

Gracelander
I'm partial to Pat Monahan the singer from Train. He goes on Howard Stern all the time and does Zep covers and sounds great. RonJeremy
Who is that ? Mick, The guys name is Jean Violet. Here is the bands MySpace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=66200385&MyToken=74dccc0f-d3a8-4cff-b76c-88ebe6dd5521 I have seen him live a few times and he does a good Plant....but I am sure Zepplin would want someone a bit more famous than a bar singer. For the record the guy from Train wasn't bad.
