[[ghost]]
NO WAY' date=' this was a game where campbell had to step up. He was probably surprised he had time to throw the ball in the first place.
Zguy28
This whole shelaccing of a game will turn into a net positive for the franchise. It exposed some things like Jon Jansen not being able to block a child.
Saqs
The Dallas game after the bye will say more about this team than anything IMO.
da#1skinsfan
The oline lost this game, hands down, without a doubt. No protection and ZERO holes. The 2 runs CP did break off were the only manageable holes all game. Without a doubt 90% of this loss is on the oline.
playoffsplz
I'm sorry but as a big Campbell fan I can say he had a horrible game last night. Honestly he looked like a rookie too me. MANY bad throws...short and long. He took at least two sacks where he should have gotten rid of the ball. The O line played it's part for sure, but Campbell looked lost last night. He certainly shares the blame with the O Line.

Mooka
I think we're pretty lucky Jason wasn't injured in that game. He was getting rocked hard. Did you guys see the helmet to helmet hit up close? You could see his head rock back and forth in his helmet. Don't worry though. Plenty of blame to go around. Stophovr6
-1 To Todd Yoder for falling to the ground in some sort of attempt to "block" on one of the sacks.
REDSKYNYRD
The O line really blows chunks and Jason Campbell knows it. When we play against good teams, is this what we can expect? 7 sacks and 2 INTs. Our biggest margin of victory is 7 points against Arizona (5-3) and Detroit (0-8). Zorn had better have a heart to heart or foot to ass with his bud Sherman Smith and Joe Bugel. The D line can't carry the team week after week. The O line looked stupid and got owned. One more thing, please get rid of Vinny Cerrato.
herb mul-key
JC was nervous and inaccurate from the start...Zorn should have aired it out so JC could calm his nerves down..JC did not play well. Our playmakers/skill ( ARE, Cooley, Portis Thrash)guys did not play well and get first downs when needed The line did not play well and I would have at least like to see them help JC up after getting rag dolled...c'mon he is not Jeff George. 36HAMMER
games are won and lost in the trenches, everyone knows that. this line is iold. maybe put heyer at rt and reinhart at lg. what you guys think.also that dink and dunk passing game played right into the steelers pressure d. we needed to stretch the field and get the lb of the line of scrimmage.then portis possibly could have run better . eljeasel
People have the mistaken notion that if the offensive line has people running free to the QB they are doing a bad job.The Steelers were sending linebackers. So it up to Campbell to find the hot read like Byron was doing. But they were rushing only 5 and sometimes only 4 people and they were coming in almost completely clean. On at least 2 of the sacks Campbell had just finished his drop back before he got hit.
knowledge316
the entire offensive unit including Zorn are to be blamed for last night's poor performance...it's not a big secret that Steelers love to blitz from all over the place, therefore, the offense should have been prepared for that, no excuses this is the most important aspect as to why we lost last night: the ineptitude of the offense to put up TDs when the opportunity is there...this isn't just last night's game, this trend has been going on since the Rams game...that's 4 games in a row where we just can't manage to make plays inside the 40 yard line...what's sad is that, of the last 4 games, 3 were at home let's examine this: 1st drive we get the ball at Pitt 37 and again at Pitt 30, and we go 3-and out and settle for FGs, we also had another chance around midfield in the 1st quarter, and yet again the offense failed to move the ball...now, these are great opportunities to make plays, yet game after game, the offense is just throwing these opportunities away
IbleedBnG83
People are talking about JC's accuracy. OK let me remind everyone, that even the best players have bad games. But when the offensive line is not protecting...JC will definitely be more inclined to be off his game.
