Big Blue Joe
Geez, he played the entire second half with fractured ribs. That's amazing
TheREALJBird
From Rotoworld.comWestbrook The Eagles revealed Monday that Brian Westbrook fractured his ribs against the Redskins Sunday. Westbrook's ankle appeared to be fine Sunday, but now he's got a more serious injury. Philadelphia's bye week comes at a great time, and the recovery time from this sort of injury depends on a lot of variables (what ribs, how many ribs, how serious the fracture, etc.) We'll update once we know more. Oct. 6 - 12:09 pm et Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com And I kind of, not really, called it last night... http://www.extremeskins.com/showpost.php?p=5642532&postcount=333 Heh....if you go back a little in the thread oldskool I pretty much kind of not sorted called it to, with much fewer words though lol

ArmchairRedskin
Sorry we broke your offense, Philly. I wish him the best. Hope he returns soon.
DWinzit
The Eagles next NFCE matchup is the Giants on Nov 9th. I say sit WB until then.
Tom [Giants fan]
Well, the Giants don't play them for another month. I want him at full strength when they play. I don't want any excuses if the Giants beat them about how the Eagles would have won if he was playing.
TheDoyler23
First McNabb's sore neck (From having his head up you know where) and now this? Tough times in Philly.
SKINS_RJ_44
Westbrook is a very good running back, but he seems to get injured a lot.
tr1
The Eagles next NFCE matchup is the Giants on Nov 9th. I say sit WB until then. Agreed. And I'd like to see him play the pukes, too.
3rdgenJen
I can't believe they let him play the second half without checking out the injury more carefully, especially considering what a key player he is for them. I can't imagine how much pain he must have been in. How did he keep himself from decking McNabb after playing in that kind of pain and then listening to McNabb's whine after the game? Redd
Hmmm, no wonder he couldn't put his head down and try and force his way in near the goal line. That and Andre Carter.^__^ Get well soon Westbrook. You're one of the Eagles players I actually like.
NFLAnalyzer
I'm surprised that Westbrook has decided to play with the broken ribs against the niners next week.
zoony
Westbrook didn't look like himself for the entire 2nd half. I thought something was up- though I thought it was his ankle. But anyways- that is one tough SOB. Taking the hits he did with cracked ribs- sheesh.
SittingBull
What a coincidence, our Westbrook36 has a fractured ego.
