Soup
He's a 33 year old Guard but the skins run to the left more and it seem as though he can go a couple more years. I've not seen anything that should deter the Front office from resigning him for a couple more years. I believe he's a free agent after this year and I don't think he'll ask for too much to come back.
RAAZ227
I think he is doing a good job, why not?
skinfan2k
Kendall just turned 35. No thanks
Genghis Khan
It depends on want he wants. I think we brought Reinhart to replace him in the lineup so if he comes back it will be as a backup. I really don't want to see us give him more money then necessary at that age.
DWinzit
The plan was for him to play out his two years and be done. That works for me. He's done a good job but will be looking for another multiyear deal. Lets get younger.

mAshparie36
I think we should move the line around so that we have- Samuels, Heyer/Jansen, Rabach, Thomas, Heyer/Jansen. That could be a pretty sick line, but Kendall isn't bad.
Ray Brown
kendall has one or two years of playing left. maybe re-sign, but for god sakes dont reach. take lessons from other teams and cut ties if it comes down to it.
hitmandm
resign Kendall if the money is decent. Rinehart can mature another year and be ok.
dfitzo53
I wouldn't be opposed to resigning him, but we need to continue the youth movement on the line. Even if we do resign him we need to be looking for offensive linemen in the draft.
drums and skins
If he'll take a one year deal with performance based incentives, I don't see a big reason to let him go if he wants to come back. We definitely don't need to overpay for a guy this old, so if he wants a multi-year deal with pay a 26 or 27 year old guard should get, then no, absolutely not. Hopefully Rhinehart will be a confident start next year, but if Kendall is still playing good ball and wants to come back (winning this year, I'm sure would make an easier case for Kendall to come back), I see no problem with it. I'm not a fan of keeping old people around as they lose a step towards the end of their career, but if he's playing well, theres no reason to let him loose, imo. Sawyer5500
If he re-signs for veteran minimum why not? Just dont guarantee him a starting job. But if hes not starting then he will be a quality veteran backup.
corrupt3d
If he wants to come as a backup, I'm all for it. He's a solid LG, we gotta give him this.
Jimbo
Time to get younger. Let Pete ride off into the sunset on a winning note.
Sawyer5500
The problem is i think a desperate team will give him a pretty big contract to be their starting guard because hes still playing at a high level. But if we can give him a modest deal to be a starter for another year or a quality backup, im all for it.
acuratl1984
IMO resign him if its not too expensive, if he can play at the same level as this year, IMO hes been pretty solid, NO PENALTIES!!!! Let Rinehart develop another year under Bugel. Draft LB/OL/DL/CB in that order (maybe OL and LB can swap)
Hitman#21
Hasnt missed a gm and has been playing very well...so my answer is yes.
Soup
I'm not saying they should resign him to a 6 year 30 million+ contract. While the skins get Rinehart up to speed and bring in some other younger talent, I wouldn't mind signing him up for a couple of years at the 1.8 million/year deal he has now. Though I agree younger is the way to go, I worry about losing productivity in the running game if they put in a 2nd year player like Rinehart. Fifty Gut
Most likely he'll re-sign for cheap and there'll be an open competition in camp.

Skins4SB
Sign one in FA and let him go. Who knows, maybe Rinehart will be ready next year.
phishisthegreatstuff
we should draft his replacement this year.
SkinsMaster88
I think Rinehart will take his spot. But Kendall has performed well for us. We do need to get younger on the O-line in the future.
SittingBull
As long as he has no problem with not starting in the near future and becoming a reliable backup we should keep him.
