Unbelievable Republican hypocrisy

Chicken Noodle News (CNN) is NEVER Biased! Yea sure

Spin is spin. It's just like BOTH of these candidates using video from four years ago. Take the juicy parts out of context and throw them onto a mud slinging ad. ( I am "douchebag candidate" and I approve this message.)

Do me a favor and just shutup about it.

The OP is correct. None of this happens in the Democratic party. Nothing similar at alll.

Feel free to post clips of it then.

As far as the Daily Show being biased. It's a ****ing comedy show. First off. Second off, it's geared towards my generation and younger. We tend to be more left so of course it's going to be made for us.

That being said, Jon Stewart is one of the best interviewers around. Anywhere. (As sad as that is.) He has people from the right on his show on the regular. And actually his guest last night, after the clip posted above, was Newt Gingrich. He doesn't berate them or treat them unfairly. He conducts good, informative interviews.

This sort of attitude always irks me.

So that makes it OK?

Since when do two wrongs make a right?

People need to flat out grow the **** up. Saying "well THEY do it" is ridiculously juvenile, and certainly no way to behave. If the other side's tactics are so deplorable, then act like adults and set a better example for crying out loud.

Honestly, if my kid came home from school and told me he misbehaved because the other kid did first, I'd send his ass straight to his room. HE knows better, and he's only 11.

I find it odd that the media's serious scrutiny of Palin began almost immediately, yet the serious scrutiny of Obama (if there ever was any beyond a token amount) took over a year to begin.. If the media hadn’t been so utterly and completely in the tank for Obama then he would have been laughed out of the race early in the primaries.

Do you find it surprising that media scrutiny gets more serious as election gets closer?

Woud you really expect media scrutiny for one of 9 potential Dem nominees a year and a half before elections to be as serious as media scrutiny for the Republican VP pick 2 months before elections?

What truly makes me laugh - however - is the glaring omission in this post. Does no one find it hysterically ironic how hard the far left came down on Palin for the situation involving her daughter? It was reminiscent of some of the cooks who went after Cheney's daughter for being a lesbian. My God man, if you can't see the hypocrisy in that......I can't help ya

Wow, there is so much wrong with this paragraph I'm wondering if you're punking the board here.

1. Who is this 'far left' that is coming down on Palin for the situation involving her daughter? In what way did they come down on her? What situation are you talking about? The only person I've seen coming down on Palin for her family situation is Mass_Skin_Fan, the pinko ****.

2. Sorry, but nobody "went after" Mary Cheney "for being a lesbian". Nobody on the left criticized her for being in a long-term homosexual relationship and bringing a child into the family. Please. They went after Dick for his stand against equal rights for homosexuals, as in 'How can oppose equal rights for your own daughter?"

I think at some point Mary wrote a book that some on the left didn't like, but again, they (we?) were perfectly happy with her being a lesbian and a mom.

Sorry to disappoint you, OP but Stewart isn't exactly in the middle on politics as well. The Daily Show has become a joke on the republicans show from more left wing pundits. It's a shame because I used to enjoy that show before Stewart got there.

You are welcome to your opinion, but I disagree with you that Stewart isn't in the middle;

The ribbing is 50/50 when it comes to the candidates and Congress, but Bush and Cheney are the difference makers, not because they are republicans, but because of the office they hold.

This isn't proof that Stewart is a lefty, it's proof that Stewart's going to pick on whoever the Pres. and VP are.

You also have to remember, in the last eight years, most of the politicians running the government have been republicans. For a show that targets political stupidity, whatever party is in charge is going to take the most heat.

If Obama/Biden win this election, and the Democrats maintain control of the congress two years from now, you'll see most of the heat on them.

Of course it's not surprising, but Obama got NONE until fairly recently. Like I said, anyone with as many negatives as him would've been laughed out of the race early in the primaries, with even a little scrutiny.

The whole country is biased against GOP nowadays, and I wonder why.

Probably because most Americans don't deserve their citizenship to begin with and wouldn't know the difference between Right and Wrong if it jumped up and latched onto their crotch with the jaws of a Great White Shark. The American Sheeple began their descent into wothlessness in the 1960's and have been continuously accelerating their decline towards absolute worthlessness since then. Every year not only do they get closer, but they pick up more speed in their attempts to reach the same level of gutless, Socialist, Liberal myopicness that Europeans have achieved over the years.

Well don't you know that Hitler was actually a Leftist/Socialist/Communist? Just ask some people on here. They'll tell ya.

Just ask the same people who don't think we have socialized medicine in this country already? Yeah, they'll tell ya. Just listen to the soundbites without taking time to understand what the words mean or who the poeple were.

For what it's worth, the clip was hillarious.

Noone took Obama seriously until he won Iowa, just like noone care about Palin's life until McCain picked her.

It's when the Star Power starts to rise that the other side starts digging for dirt. It's not that complicated.

They were too busy scrutinizing Clinton.

Both sides do it so why front. I think however there is an issue with palin and hilary. Hilary whined and complained when asked tough questions REGARDING her camaign. The questions Palin is getting, are personal and regarding her family. IMO big difference.

Sarah Palin has not taken a question from a reporter since she joined the campaign.

...where were you during the Reverend Wright controversy? That was back during the primaries. As was the "cling to religion" issue as well. Since the race narrowed to him and Clinton, he's faced more than his fair share of criticism.

This is such bs Craig Kilborn was about as funny as a head wound.
