These are the players that will probably be cut for sure..!

With us being 22 million over the cap,It's pretty obvious of some of the cuts that will have to be made...

There was a thread about us definately releasing a vet QB in the offseason,so I would bet a lot that Mark Brunell is gone!Isn't his contract ridiculous even after restructuring?(he's the #3 for gods sakes!)Of course we will resign Collins at a much cheaper price and he will stay considering his relationship with Saunders! :applause: We will either draft a QB in later rounds or give Palmer a second chance!

With the performance of Caldwell and the signing of Mix,I think it's fair to say Brandon Lloyd is as good as gone! With Moss,Randel El,Thrash,Mix,Caldwell and possibly Mccardell, lloyd has no shot at being here with his additude and personal problems! The question is,will he be flat out released or will we try to get some compensation for him by trading him somewhere? :applause: We can easily replace Lloyds performance with a low round draft pick if the front office thinks we should!

I think most of our line will be the same and not changed with a few cuts by sucky depth (fabini) or some others...If anyone has to look over the shoulder at all about their job, then you have to say Jon Jansen.However..didn't he restructure with us a while back?I don't see him going as Buges loves him,but if any of our starting Lineman need to be worried,it has to be him!He has been frrequently injured and is getting older as well... :applause:  Samuels,Kendall,Rabach,Thomas are not going anywhere! It's not impossible to see our #1 pick used on a Right Tackle gentleman...

Linebackers are set right now...We drafted well, but also has some injuries with Rocky and Marcus..I've heard some rumors about us going after Briggs(expensive)which is possible? But I don't see us getting rid of Marcus Washington, just to sign another LB to a huge contract! We may do some subtraction on that core, but no additions will be made here! :applause: With Fletcher and Blades at MLB and Rocky,Godfrey(playing very well) Sartz waiting...Marcus will probably stay here een if he is demoted...(possibly retructure if his contract baloons(not sure on contract?)But if any of our expensive LBer's are gone,it probably will be Marcus!

Springs is the only one who possibly could be gone...Smoot isn't going anywhere as well as Rogers...Sean Taylor died,so it's like we just released him...As weird as it may be,but the death of Sean Taylor will probably keep Springs here for at least another year...unless the front office feels we need to get younger and draft a CB with the 1st round pick! :(:(:(:(:(:( May he RIP..I would like to think that Springs would want to stay and perhaps restrucure, but nothing is guarenteed!

Now the D-line is very interesting...Griffin is making a ton and has had injury problems as well...BUT...he's probably still the best lineman we have...He's getting older,so it's not impossible to think the front office would make a move here....but I seriously doubt this would happen! But with the performance of Golsten and Montgomery,it's not completely out of the question if we need serious cap relief..!Carter isn't going anywhere for sure (10 1/2 sacks)...I love Daniels, but he's got to go...We need to get younger at the DE and with Wilson being a pass rush specialist,he will stay!We MUST :notworthy sign a guy like Jared Allen or draft a 1st rounder to share duties with Wilson!!Personally??I wouldn't be against BOTH to be honest!!We got to get better at the D-line if we are to have a PRAYER at advancing further in the playoffs!Did you see Seattle D-line whip our ass??Well,we could be that too, if our front office realized our d-line SUCKS!If we don't do anything in the draft...........signing nobody except 1 position on the team...It has to be D-line period!!If we do not address this in 08',then 06' my look like a wet dream compared to 08'! :notworthy :applause: It really, truly is that simple people!

Kicking game?Well..they don't cost much anyways,so I'm in the middle on this..If we cut Suisham for someone else...FINE!If we don't and he's stays with us forever...FINE!Personally..I don't really care!So he missed? You think that cost us the Seattle game...Your wrong!Landry's TD not being a TD or the Kickoff not being able to advance it or Cooleys drop at the 2...that cost us the Ballgame...We're up by 8 and the game is our period!Suisham make the FG and we are up by 4 and they score and win...20-17 Game over..! :notworthy Suisham has been better than any kicker we have had since Lohmiller,so don't go crucifying him...Want to blame someone?Blame Sellers for being Stupid on the 12 yard line and killing any momentum we had left during the game and being forced to use a precious timeout!

Anyways...It will be difficult to get under the CAP,but if any team can do it without losing half our team...the REDSKINS can.. :notworthy We may not have won a Superbowl in 17 years, but everyone knows who's the king of the offseason!

I'm with you on the Brunell front, no need to keep two expensive backups. The only way I see Brunell staying is if Collins decides to leave in FA.

WRs too, BL is a joke and does not deserve a second chance. If we had a weaker locker room he might have actually developed into a locker room cancer.

Jansen, while plagued by injuries in recent years, is NOT injury prone. Seriously, I can't think of another player on our team who has had as bad luck as Jansen's with injuries. Jansen will be a Skin for life. As well as Heyer played down the stretch, Jansen is still miles ahead of him. As long as Jansen is able to play at a high level I think he should keep his job.

And what happens with Wade? We just paid him a bunch of money to stay here as a backup. I think we release Fabini and pick up another O-Line prospect late in the draft or another UDFA (hopefully he turns out to be money like Heyer has).

I can't see us persuing another expensive linebacker. As a whole they performed head and shoulders above last year. Thank god highway 57 is gone. Rocky played well before he got hurt, he is explosive and flies to the ball. He has a solid pedigree, (think LB #52, from THE U!!!), and he is finally developing into the player we drafted him to be.

I think Godfrey might be gone. Remember last year when we brought in Troy Vincent for depth? He played well and was a veteren, but he was still one of the first cut at the end of the year. With Blades and Sartz back there I think we should be solid.

I don't have time to finish this now, but I'll come back and finish this later.

QB- Campbell, Hollenbach

Current situation is listed above. My suggestions is to sign TC to a 1 yr deal or sign a backup like Quinn Gray

RB- Portis, Betts,

Mason is likely to be brought up if Rock is let go, but he is crucial to the lockerroom. Another core redskins going will not serve well

WR- Randel El, Moss, Mix, Thrash, Caldwell, Lloyd

Lloyd is a goner. Caldwell served well in a 3rd and 4th role. We need a true #1 target . What will go on with espy? Is thrash officially done?

TE- Cooley, Yoder, Koz, Ecker

Never seen Ecker play. We need a LJ smith to be a 2nd option.

OL- I hate Kendall with a passion. RT should be back to 100% next year. Jansen will take over the RT spot and he can groom Heyer there.

i'm 21 years old and through my 15 years of watching football i'm starting to learn one thing... the best teams are the teams that can hold their offensive line together year after year (look at the pats, the broncos, the steelers, etc.)... these teams have maintained for the most part the same offensive line year after year... how does anyone expect portis to be a hall of fame running back or campbell to evolve into a pro bowl quarterback with a different offensive line every year????!!!

ps. injury is not an excuse! GET A ****ING BETTER TRAINING STAFF!!!

yeah! everything i say is awesome! emphasis!

im sorry but i couldnt keep my eyes off of the !!!!

and im not sure how you cant understand that people are upset with Suisham, he missed a 30 yard FG in a playoff game, and its hilarious if you think we lost the game with landrys td not being a td (because he clearly had contact with the offensive player), or the kick not being able to advance (its a RULE, if you didnt know, you cant really change those) and cooleys drop did not lose us the game, but it could have helped us win it.

As for offseason cuts, cut brunell (if cap smart) and llyod (again if cap smart) and griffin is a tweener

the line is the worst right now...on BOTH sides of the ball. the O-Line was being blown of the ball on every play in the Seattle game. That was ridiculous. Plus we need to start getting pressure. If Gregg Williams is going to stick with rushing 4, then the D-Line will need to be totally made over. Daniels isn't cutting it. Golston is performing very well and Montgomery is playing well on both sides of the ball. This off season will be very interesting!

When did Montgomery play on the O-Line?

In the Titan's-SD game i couldn't help but notice how on each play Albert Hayensworth would take Chris Dielman and push him like 5 yards into the backfield and collapse the pocket. Even a Pro-bowl lineman in Dielman can't handle him one on one.

I believe he is a UFA. The downside is that he is a nutcase and makes a bone head play every now and then. If he behaves he could be a good addition.

Griffin certainly is not our best player along the line. Carter most certainly is and Montgomery has even been playing better than Griff. I think Griffin can go...that being said I believe our DL needs most improvement.

Here is what I would like to see done in the offseason...

1. In regard to the draft...1st round DT Frank Okam, 2nd round CB Aqib Talib...

2. On defense, I think we will sign Lance Briggs, all signs point to this so I will put it in there. Other signings...Antwan Odom DE Titans and Nnamdi Asamough CB Raiders. I think Reed Doughty can hold his own at SS and we don't need to put any more money there especially if we revamp the DL.

3. On offense, Sign Berrian...the guy is big, fast, won't break the bank and is entering his prime.

4. Big name guys getting released...Griffin, Thrash, Brunell, Springs, Daniels, and possibly Washington.

Just a couple of ideas...

if anyone.. rabach is suspect...chris samuals will win the battle..on certain plays...we cant judge jansen for being injured...i think he has a few more years left in the tank..if hes healthy. i honestly think we need 2 OL and 2 DL whichever is best at the time.

You hate Kendall? Are you confusing him w/ Fabini? Kendall played great this season. After stepping right into the lineup from game 1, and not missing a start. I think we were very lucky to find a Guard of his talent and experience so late in the preseason.
