kingfish50
Where in the hell has this guy been? He was spectacular! I hope to see a lot more of him in the coming weeks.
The Full Monty
I now fully take back the negative comments I made about him signing with us. I called him a "choke artist" at the time because of last year's AFC title game. I didn't give him a fair shake as a Redskin and yesterday proved that he's out to redeem himself and help this team win.
TLusby
Caldwell played well and so did KM. KM did have the one critical drop on the 10 yard line. This offense is clicking! Remove Moss for a couple of games and see what we have. KM, RC, and ARE will be a good line-up.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
Win-win option....trade Moss to the Cards for Bryant Johnson and a 4th rounder. They'd get something in exchange for a player they thought they'd get nothing for, and Moss would be deadly in the slot with the other WRs they have. We'd get the larger, more durable possession WR we need, plus another draft pick to boot. That would then leave us free to devote the rest of our draft and perhaps F.A. also to building our OL/DL. ...oh, and for the record, we need to re-sign Caldwell. Whether he ends up starting for us or not, he's a legit NFL WR and would provide valuable depth at a position of real need for us. How are the Cardinals going to trade a player that they do not have under contract? Scene (February 2008): Rod Graves: Bryant, I some exciting news. We just traded you to the Redskins. Bryant Johnson: I don't actually play for you. How can you trade me? Rod Graves: We are the Cardinals. We do stupid things all the time. Bryant Johnson: Oh...in that case...I'm not going. But hey, I wouldn't be surprised if the Skins traded picks for him anyway. They have a habit of doing that.
clubisyohankovic
i think he and McCardell showed that you dont need to spend 6 years and 30 million on wr's to get production. we could have that money spent on talent elsewhere. bingo! That's why it would benefit both sides to give them something in exchange. The one thing I just thought of is whether the NFL trade deadline has already passed...quick google search.....Oh, well, :pooh: Nevermind.
[[ghost]]
Caldwell and McCardell are opposites of our starters, which is why they're so useful. They've got very good hands, and make sure to maintain possession. I'm not knocking Moss/Randle El, but caldwell and mccardell make good change-of-pace. flexxskins
Uh, I don't know about him being a bright spot. I saw nothing spectacular. He caught passes any WR in the NFl could make.Uh, explain how he wasn't a bright spot. Did I not use the correct/exact word description that you would have used? I swear, there always has to be at least one in the crowd. Uh, BTW, you are the only one who used the word "spectacular". My point, was simply that he was catching the balls that were thrown to him and holding on to them as well.
Vladimir L
He goes after the ball.
skinfan2k
Both Mccardell and Caldwell know how to run routes and don't need to use their speed like our other Wrs to get seperation

Blackest Eyes
I really like Caldwell. He could be a rock solid 3 WR for us.
RAAZ227
I like them also, but Moss is coming back to him old self.
alwaysaskin
No way! Brandon Lloyd was an exuberant high-fiver! He was high-fiving his guts out there. Brandon Lloyd raps his guts out every week, and leaves it all on the field when he calls Toy Aikman gay
jimster
I admit I was wrong about him. I thought the reason he wasn't playing all this time is he didn't look good in practice. We need to do more 3 WR sets, whether it be run or pass.
RenegadeTK
i agree... i was against bringing him here, but am pleased to have been proved wrong. i hope we can get the ball to him more
rm8899
KM definitely doesn't have age on his side. but i agree with him being solid in there catching most balls coming his way. think he'll be still playing next year at 38? We need to get Mix into the rotation now that our season is looking worse and worse.
