Enter is that the supercharged version?

If I had been the original owner, it would have been. It's the mid-range model thats equipped to more or less have everything the supercharged version has... except the supercharger.

I haven't been able to convince myself to put the money down and fix that little "problem" yet.

This is what i get around in a 1998 Escort ZX2. Mine is all white though. It isnt a bad car and i only paid $75 bucks for the car. My grandmother wrecked it and it messed up the back bumper so she went out and got a new Caddy and then sold the Escort to me for 75 bucks. Hey cant beat that and it gets great gas mileage and ive been driving it for 2 years without any problems.

That's great man. I wanted to get a G35 but the ones I wanted were a little out of my price range so I decided to hold off on that.

I did get a car though. At first I got an Audi A4, and it was alright. Kept it for like 3 days but I changed my mind and swapped it for a Lexus IS300. I've been having a lot of fun with that.

I'm good like that

That's an awesome car, it looks really nice. See now I'm mad because another GM owner is putting down my car... Let's have a body panel kicking contest, your car vs mine... :D:cheers:

When all was said and done I ended up paying about 26k for it with tax title and registration included. I actually ended up getting almost 7k for my saturn so me making payments on a car thats a lil under 20k is very feasable and as long as I keep my job those payments will be paid off asap.

The real reason I went for this car was because it has been considered by many car enthusiasts to have one of the most reliable engines out there.

How does your car compare to the IS 350?? Is is similar in size and shape?

damn that saturn is fast!!! wouldn't touch my 21 year old mercedes though :)

You've got a 21 year old daughter named Mercedes? Pics please...

I ran 14.560 in the 1/4 mile stock... also when we went to the 1/8th mile (closest track) we passed a new Civic SI around like a stripper at a Duke Lacrosse party, also beat an acura integra (older model) that one has a video...

I didn't know MD had a plate that colored. Looks like an Arizona plate. And I never noticed the inspection stickers in the middle of the windshield. Silly Marylanders.
MD has two colored plates -- one for farms, one for the Chesapeake Bay. The inspection sticker is because the truck was found in Alexandria. I need to get that thing off there.

I actually test drove the IS350 and wasn't really all that impressed with what it had to offer for the amount of money spent to purchase one. One thing that concerned me the most was the interior room in the drivers seat.

In terms of performance I'd say we're about equal the IS has about 20 more HP and does not offer a 6 speed transmission in the 350 (another design flaw imho). But in terms of size and shape the G is a little bit longer and wider, but the Lexus sits a little taller.

Curb weight is almost identical, with the Lexus weighing about 50 lbs more then the G.

Eagles_Legendz - you happy with your M3 even with the release of the new 3 series that's twin turbo? I have a friend of recently purchased one and said that it's very fast however there's been alot of problems with turbo lag and of course the high cost of repairing BMW parts.

One thing I never understood is how alot of BMW owners complain about the cost to repair their vehicles but what do you expect when you're going out and purchasing a high end vehicle such as BMW, which not to mention is a completely foreign car.

I have been hearing a lot about performance cars, does anyone have any pics of their cars performing? I thought maybe I would post a few of mine performing.

The only place I race is on the track... I'm not a dumbass street racer...

p.s. the Integra left early so I automatically won, but pulled out my best run of the day (9.47)

is that on an 1/8 mile?

Yeah it's on the 1/8th... Completely stock... The nearest 1/4th is about 2 hours away in Rockingham, I've been once on a cold and windy night and ran 14.560...

Once again stock...

I don't want people to eat crow, I just want them to understand my obsession with a $15k car that can run sub 15's..

The track is Shadyside in Shelby, NC... It's basically a huge field that some farmer turned into an 1/8th, no timeslips, just the final time... it's only $7 to race from like noon until dark... But the track was crappy I'm never going there again... I saw 3 cars snap axles...

Look, my girl had her choice of just about anything she wanted. I tried to get her to get the BMW she says she loves, but she went w/ the a Beetle because it was more cost effective and she liked it.

To each their own. Her sister was in a Mini and just traded it in for an Ion, so.....

Looks like you are enjoying it. I know I enjoy mine. My friends don't understand why I have a 12 year old vehicle when I should have something newer and more reliable. I know how you feel.
