renaissance
This doesn't just pertain to The Office, but is a pretty comprehensive list of current shows and how many new episodes are left: http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Strike-Chart-Long/800026937 I think aside from reality shows and shows that were originally planned to start mid-season, we are gonna be SOL for new TV pretty soon. Oh how I miss The Office Since it went off air I've watched all of the original UK version - glad I did that!

ihatenumber8
Scrubs: Eleven episodes will be produced. Six episodes have aired, so there are five left. WTF, why aren't they gonna show them for the next five weeks.

Mr. Grundle
Anyone that likes Gervais should check out his show on HBO, Extras. It takes a while to get into but it's hilarious. Extras is great for the cameos. I just caught this the other day, a cameo by Clive Owen that is one of the funniest scenes I can remember watching in a long time. Gervais is god. *warning for language* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76CaTyD_sGI
WVUforREDSKINS
I have never seen the British version. I can watch them online. But, I wonder if I would get it. British humor is much different than American. I guess ill check it out.

British humor is much different than American. I guess ill check it out. I'm sure I didn't catch all the subtleties, and some of the slang takes a little longer to catch on to. After a couple episodes it's all normal though. And there are only two seasons (edit: they're referred to as "series") plus the holiday special, so you could theoretically watch it in a day or two. The shows in the UK version and american version are so similar.

renaissance
Does anybody watch 10 Items or Less, TBS' Office wannabe? I've only watched a couple minutes, but it looks like it tries to hard to be like The Off and it just not funny.

lordpeppercombe
im obviously going to say the brit version is better but having seen the american version, which writing wise had input from ricky gervaise and stephen marchant who were the original writers on the brit series,it certainly goes close and has the same spot on humour. blitzpackage
With the Writer's Guild reaching a tentative agreement and showrunners going back to work tomorrow, has anyone heard if there will be any new episodes of The Office soon? Just curious. *edit: It says here that they will film 5 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May. Darn, guess I'll just have to wait a little while http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Wga-Strike-Favorite/800032698?rssDate=12345678 http://www.officetally.com/the-office-season-4-spoilers
