2Legit2Quit
how could we make this work for us and would you guys want to try to trade for him? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2765633

nebster21
5.2 million this year to get him. To old? he is 29 and he is a pretty damn good corner. I would not mind switching out SS for Bly.

LiveStrongSkins
Detroit would want a 2nd or 3rd round pick. We dont have any of those and it would be stupid to trade next seasons. Just dish the money out for Clements.

flexxskins
Trade what though? We don't have anything left. BTW, just how old is "not too old?"
boofMcboof
Bly's a very good cover corner but he might gamble too much for Greg Williams' liking. Detroit's open to trading him because Bly doesn't fit well with the cover 2 which GW employs often.

Rufus T Firefly
An older, expensive player who gets "permission to seek trade" almost always is a precursor to a release. One would hope our organization realizes this. Assuming we wanted him in the first place, which we shouldn't.
njohnson350
The article talked about bly not fitting in well with the cover two defense, the same defense that got us torched the whole season. Why would we take the risk?
jivelikenice
If we had the 3rd rounder we traded for Duckett this trade might work out. He's definitely a cheaper option than Clements. They could be creative and trade the #6 overall for a package including Bly but I don't knowwhat else they can offer. Bly and a 2nd rounder would not be enough to trade out of the #6. HEavyJumbo85
he's seasoned and was never a great corner, always solid, but he could be done. I think he's from VA but I'd still pass, we really don't have anything to give up for him anyway

ConcordNCSkinsFan
The Redskins don't need to make the same mistake they made with Brunell. Giving up draft picks for a player that will be cut regardless. If they are interested they should just wait for the Lions to drop him, but the "geniuses" in our Front Office are probably thinking of which one of next years picks they can use for a trade.
