AsburySkinsFan
Ok, we've been hard on Los Rogers lately and for good reason, now answer this... Which play was bigger for Carlos: the interception or the TD deflection.
kevin11
Well, Stone hands caught a INT was bigger, IMO.
Skins4481
I think the INT was a big reason he was able to get the deflection. This game should give him a HUGE confidence boost though. Here's hoping.
sean_e_b
The pick. That has to boost his confidence after a season filled with drops.
DWinzit
Playing a good game was more important than both! Interception however gets the monkey off his back.
MSJHWT
Going against the grain, but I think winning the game basically (TD if he dosent get his hand in there) is bigger than the INT which isn't a highlight reel INT, almost another drop

JCav06
Bigger play for Rogers: the INT Bigger play for the team: the deflection
Uno Mas
Going against the grain, but I think winning the game basically (TD if he dosent get his hand in there) is bigger than the INT which isn't a highlight reel INT, almost another drop I concur. D'Pablo
The guy was great in coverage today. As I've been saying, he has had a pretty good season over all, but some guys value interceptions over consistently good coverage. We're gonna see a bunch of bandwagoners over the next couple of games talk about Carlos as the future. These will be the same guys that were riding his @ss last week, and pretty much the entire season.
jnhay
The int. was nice, but he still showed how little catching ability he has. He almost dropped it even though it went right into his hands.
Taylor21_INT_4_TD
he knew he can deflect the ball he has like 16 or 17 deflections this year... now he knows he can sometimes caught... the PICK
Darth Tater
Besides all the drops, Carlos has had a good season, especially given that his partners missed games or played below expectations. Defensively, our biggest problem this year has been injuries (mostly in the first half of the year) and less than expected play at SS and DE. Monk in the Hall!
The int. was nice, but he still showed how little catching ability he has. He almost dropped it even though it went right into his hands. I noticed that too. I was very excited that he put himself in the right position and held on. But even on his pick, he almost dropped it. I hope he spends some time on catching in the offseason. Good game overall for him.
khaozerker
The deflection, it won the game for us.
Chick_in_B&G
I'd say the interception. It at least proves he CAN catch the ball if he focuses. I guess the 8th time is the charm.
AsburySkinsFan
I stayed out of this because I didn't want to show bias, but as I've thought about it I concur what the other poster said: INT bigger for LOS, Deflection bigger for team. But if I had to chose one or the other I have to go with the INT because that set up the game ending scenario.
roanoker
The Interception was great for Carlos. He looked good today.
pvkeeper19
Try as he might, he couldn't possibly drop the interception. It was thrown too perfectly. The deflection was bigger, without question. If the receiver catches that ball, the game is over, and with the opposite result.
mammy487
def the pass deflection. That would have won the game for the Saints if he didnt deflect it. The INT was but wasn't all that important...
DrunkenMaster
The INT he needed that.
kom526
It looked to me that Rogers was looking for a PI flag on the deflection. He turned and looked directly at the official and did the old "throw the flag" (you non home team penalty calling thief) motion. The deflection was bigger for the TEAM, and TEAM is what it is all about.
BTBIRD 227
:logo: IMHO, the deflected pass in the end zone by Rogers was the game clincher. The Saints definetly felt the pass play should be directed towards the "weak " link in the defense. Rogers has suffered through the trials and tribulations this season, but today Rogers stood tall, maybe just maybe Rogers grew up a bit today, and will turn out to be the player the Skins wanted when they drafted Rogers. I will admit I was a "doubter " when I attended the Skins/Bucks game in Tampa, I felt Rogers should be released after the season. Of coarse one game does not make the player, I think the last two games of the season Rogers will still be under fire from the Rams and Giants.:logo:
H-O-G
finnally got the monkey off his back with the interception.
