twobags95
I have been a season ticket holder for the last three seasons and without a doubt our PA guy sucks this season!!! What happend to all the songs and such that got the place rocking last season. I remember last season when all my friends were telling me how they could hear the "You Suck" chant on TV!!! Our fans have also been a huge disapointment this season!!! I am so sick of the loosers that just sit and just watch & get mad when the persons stands up and cheers when we are on defense. If you want to sit and be quite then stay home!!! And don't get me started on the morons that want to do the "Wave" when we are on offense.... H-O-G
I don't think their allowed to play that song that the fans yell "YOU SUCK!" too... Something about the artist that made the song and the NFL not allowing stadiums to play it.

roqnap1
Dude...it's inevitable. With every price hike, more and more people sell off their tickets because they can't afford them. That's where the wine-and-cheesers come in and sit on their hands the entire game. The 2-5 record doesn't help either. I love Dallas week and I go every year...but I am sure this is going to be another pathetic display by the "fans" just like Tennessee (and I was sitting on the 44 on the HOME side LL for that game...and no one was even trying). I bet if the Skins began implementing that 700 page play book in the preseason, things would be different. The players would have gotten a feel for the offense and the fans would have been thrilled to see the offense progressing! Once the regular season began, the team would have been on a roll and the fans would have followed suit! Sadly your sig is so true! :logo:
Tastes Like Chicken
Aw come on, give the PA guy a break. I love it when he says, "First downnnnn, Washingtonnn!" He is supersmart and fights his guts out every game.
RedskinzOwnU
If we played the You Suck song, the redskins might accidently think the crowd was referring to them. Could be messy.
RFKFedEx
The P.A. guy's name Mark Kessler. Although Kessler is a long time Washington radio DJ, I don't believe that he is the DJ for the in house music at FedEx. I'm pretty sure he's just the PA anouncer. Kessler is no Phil Hockberg, but he gets the job done. I only wish they'd use an ebonic voice sample for the "love that chicken from Popeye's" commercial. It just sounds stupid with a white voice, but that's not Kessler's fault. Gary Glitter's Rock-n-roll part II is no longer played and thank god because it was totally played out and tired like the Funky Four. Not to mention Gary Glitter likes little boys. The "You Suck" chant to the chorus was classless and every fan base yells it during that song. It wasn't unique to us.
Redskins Diehard
It has been a while since there was a thread that complained about fans not standing and yelling in support of a team that has performed poorly to this point.

redskins4life234
Also, as theres a thread similar, am I the only one, who thinks they hear artifical fna noise coming out of the speakers while we are on defense, I ask my dad, but he doesnt notice, but I do. Maybe its just on of those things, thats its so high pitch, A kid can hear it, but an adult cant, but it just bothers me that if it really is, that our PA is cheating. thewagen
Aw come on, give the PA guy a break. I love it when he says, "First downnnnn, Washingtonnn!" He is supersmart and fights his guts out every game. Look, if the PA guys says one more time that FedEx is the largest NFL stadium I'm gonna puke! I'm tired of him telling the fans it's third down and long...what? we can't read? Maybe if Danny Boy spent a little more for decent scoeboards or did a little more pre-game fan acitivities, perhaps everyone wouldn't sit out in the parking lot until 15 minutes before the game. Stadium is always 70% emtpy just before kickoff. I don't personally dislike the PA guy, but it's an insult to life-long die hard fans that he has to tell us to be loud. It's no secret that fans sell off their tickets to rival teams' fans... Always a sea of silver and blue at FedEx every year when the Pukes come to town. Maybe if Snyder listened to the fans a little more he'd know what gets em revved up for the game. I like FedEx, but for the number of people it seats, you would think NO TEAM would be able to hear anything when they have the ball. That place should be sounding like a Jet runway, but many times it's dead. It has been decently loud this year, but the team cannot seem to respond to the effort the fans are trying to help as the 12th man. It'll be loud this Sunday, and I'll do my part...BUT if the 'Skins go three and out on their first two possessions, it'll be "church quiet" when the Pukes have the ball, and I bet Brunell hears the boos this time. I kinda thought the same thing, especially last year. But I couldn't quite tell if what I heard was from the PA or just how noise bounces from the lower levels up to the nose bleeders (we're up in the last row banging on FedEx boards hehe!) It sounds like a high pitch whaling noise, like i'm in an airport or something... GC

drjim94
If its not bad enough that we can spend everyway imaginable putting the players, coaches, owners, etc... down we have now turned on ourselves the fans. I take offense to the wine and cheeser comments. Some drunk jerk was in the isle at the game, standing wouldn't move, and when the ashes from his cigarette started falling in my lap I freaked. He moved back to his seat and was talking to the guy next to him, hey GD wine and cheesers you wouldn't have this crap back at RFk. We should try to stick together when times are tough and not turn on the team and each other. I work my but off for my seats, and have been a fan since birth. BuryYourDuke
There is no crowd noise pumped through the PA...that was banned by the NFL back in the early 90's if I remember correctly, during the same period as the rash of penalties against the home team when the crowd was too loud for the opposing QB... Well recently, the league was investigating seattle after I forgot who, but a team complained about them doing it, so it may be banned, but doesnt mean its not happening.
