1. I miss the "you suck" chant also.

2. The wave is the stoopidest thing ever done at a sporting event. Dumber than rooting for the Cowboys.

3. I think the "noise pumped through the PA system" theory is crap.

4. As a season ticket holder myself, you can't help but hear the stadium get more and more quiet with each loss. The Monday night game against Minnesota was loud as hell. You would've thought it was Dallas. I will say it was one of the loudest games I'd been to. But I refuse to be loud for a defense that keeps getting burned on 3rd and long. It's not worth the sore hands and hoarse voice the next day for a defense that suuux. Now I WILL cheer for them against Dallas, until the 3rd or 4th time Romo sits to pee hits Glen for 16 yards on 3rd and 15.

The opener vs Minnesota didn't sound loud to me at all. The end of the Jax game was loud though. The TEN game got loud when the tide shifted in our favor, but deflated after the team went flat.

Well, I've been in section 120 for three years; we are always making noise and standing up on defense. It has been awesome to see and feel the excitement. I don't enjoy a losing effort but I've been a Skins fan for 40 years and I've experienced a lot worse!! I lose my voice after every game but I'm a Skins fan to the core!! I don't pay any attention to the PA, that is worthless! I've heard better play-by-play at the high school level! I wish Snyder would do something about that ridiculous excuse for radio coverage, though!! If I turn just right in my seat, hold my tongue between my right jaw, shake my fingers, and cross my eyes, I can keep coverage through the game! What is with that s#*t? I'm surprised ESPN hasn't pulled the plug on that lunacy!

See you at the game! Go Redskins! Dallas suxs!

... and when the ashes from his cigarette started falling in my lap I freaked. ...

Then he should have been escorted from his seat to the concourse, if not out of the stadium, as I believe the seating area of the stadium is smoke free.

That must not be in our section; we're three rows behind the Dream Seats and I consider the usher there our section's "Seat Nazi" because he jumps on people for standing in the middle of the aisle. Unfortunately, it takes him at least a quarter and a half to get on the folks in the next section who stand up during the play to the point that the folks in our section can't see anything. (I have to be wary myself since the person directly behind me can't stand up for too long at any one time)

I definitely miss the electricity that RFK Stadium had ... it was LOUD and it SHOOK. Moreover, there wasn't much more on the PA other than down, distance and the play from Phil Hochberg. The 55k fans at RFK knew when to get LOUD for the defense and sit down for the offense. When they chanted "WE WANT DALLAS" back in the 1980's, that's all we heard. No music, no words from the PA announcer ... nothing else. The FANS made it all happen.

At FedEx, everything seems so "artificial" for lack of a better word. The lifelong fans who want to try and get things going back to the days of RFK can't because there is too many other unnecessary things happening. This Sunday, can we do away with the pre-game music and let the fans start chanting "WE WANT DALLAS" at 1245? If we can get five good minutes of that on each side of the National Anthem, that would get the place rocking.

my few cents ...
