Pete
Well, it's official. Once again, the bye week is here and we all have a free Sunday to do anything, except watch Skins football of course. Sure, many will still watch games, but many will do other stuff. I'm not intending to sit around mopeing over the Skins playing below expectations. The "buy" comes at a perfect time for me. Our anual Oktober Fest will be happening next weekend, and I intend to enjoy a day in the sun with family and friends, away from the computer  It's the second largest Oktober fest in the world they say, and we never miss it. I keep it basic, and don't do the sit down meal they offer. Brauts, potato pancakes, and good beer is all I need to be content. OK, a few shots of Rumplemens never hurt  So, what ya'll doing Sunday.

C.Taylor
I don't know about me, but my wife is definitely going to bye something.
CM916
Im hoping to watch the rest of our division stink up the field. I loved the game in Tampa yesterday for example. Announcer: "The Eagles have the best offense in the NFL. Oh wait, there goes another interception returned for a TD."
PCS
Yeah yeah. What am I getting Pete? Absolutely nothing. Maybe head out on the midmountain trail should weather allow. Good hike up in the mountains can't hurt. Maybe watch some other teams play and maybe do some more work on the condo. Have some more trim work to do and a ceiling fan to put in. Read: I'm trying to put off work on the condo but that's probably what I'll end up doing.

praise_gibbs
I will be watching the games regardless. I still have a chance for a championship in one of my fantasy football leagues so I have to cheer on my players. I am a Skins fan first but, I still love me some football. Rdskn4Lyf21
No Skins this weekend.... Saw III is coming out Friday though! But this is shaping up to be a kick-ass week, so the weekend shouldn't be too bleak.
praise_gibbs
I see the spelling police got me again  I just hear about Joe Gibbs giving gifts. I thought this would have been my chance to get some kind of gift ( perhaps some money? )

I scheduled it for sunday since I knew we'd have the bye haha. Or helping my dad on our house addition since I know that's what he'll be working on. ECU-ALUM
Take my son to the park (if the weather is nice) and just enjoy watching him be a little boy. He won't know what to do when daddy isn't yelling at the TV on Sunday afternoon.

DOOG
Read: Smart asses. Not me of course. :halo: I'll buy Pete a spellchecker. Lots of that going around so it seems! Me personally I have nothing better to do...so I'm going to start counting the number of Brunnell threads, I'm hoping to be done the day before the Dallas game. :logo:
ldysknzfn1
I will probably get ready for Halloween...carve the jac-o-lanterns w/the redskins patterns I found at Wallyworld...and relax...maybe watch some other team play and see how it feels when the team you're rooting for wins:silly: ....Of course all of this comes after church... DieHard86
not think about football - maybe go outside and enjoy the weather. Then start thinking about Dallas - just beat Dallas. I go to two games a year and getting just one win vs. Dallas would make us all feel better.
SeattleSkinsFan
Either working in the yard, or in the garage. Or in my in-laws' yard. Regardless, I'll be tired by the end of the day -- but probably not depressed, which will be a nice change.
