Art Monk Fan
My new Sony KDS-R60XBR2 will be delivered today, just in time for the Redskins/Giants game. 60" of widescreen, hi-def, 1080p goodness! I'm a happy man!

The 12th Commandment
Man, I'm jealous. I had to settle for a Sony kdf-46E2000. Rear projection and 780p but it still looks pretty damn good. Congrats!
Art Monk Fan
wow, 1080p? isn't that the highest standard on the market today? Yup! Just one slight problem: nothing's being broadcast in 1080p yet.
cjcdaman
As soon as you get it, it is an unwritten rule that you must take a picture of it while viewing an HD channel. Here's mine.

cjcdaman
The Sony's are awesome TV's, but one of the reasons besides wanting a DLP that I didn't get one is how it sticks out on each side.

Hooper
Sweet, man. I've got a Panasonic 42 and the games look amazing on it. Only problem is when you have to watch a game that isn't in high-def, like the Skins-titans next week. Once you see games in hi-def, normal coverage looks like any woman in Philly -- heinous. Art Monk Fan
We already have the HDTV set up from our last tv, which is about to relocate to the basement for the kids. The old one is a Mitsubishi 42" 1080i rear-projection HDTV.

Best one I have ever owned. Word of advice. Within a year try and get an extra bulb and keep it on hand. Mine blew out the friday before a super bowl. I had to drive to charlotsville from NOVA to get a bulb that Saturday. I keep an extra now.
