Skins81
I dont know if the toe injury just got him or what, but at some point he turned into such a non-big-play WR with no ability to get YAC or down field. Not a bad WR just not top tier anymore.

Not a bad WR just not top tier anymore. It was the toe initally, he lost steps. However, in the past 2 seasons it seems to have gone to his hands as well. Yeah, he may have 90 catches, but he drops a bunch and can't break away from a DB. Coles still is a solid WR but more of the #2/#3 variety. Ken
If true, it is amazing. To say he lost a step, wow. I mean the guy ran a 4.19. He'd have to lose quite a few of them to be this bad. Unreal, but the Redskins really look brilliant on this move. Goes to show you that sun even shines on a dogs butt once a day!
FuriousD
The Jets FO take buffoonery to a whole new level! Move Coles to "upgrade" their wide receiver corps one year after trading Santana Moss for him. Priceless! Goood Lord! :jetssuck: :helmet:

JCB
That's my question too, Hate. Maybe Coles and a draft pick for Branch? Or is Branch immobile owing to the NFLPA?
TheLongshot
How would trading thier best WR upgrade the WR corps? Maybe it is an upgrade if he isn't on the team. Jason
DarthSidious
Wonder where Coles will end up. This just proves the point that you never make a trade with the Skins or you will get fleeced (points to other trades such as Saints/Skins and Panthers/Skins). PCRoughrider
Trading away Coles to ugrade their wide receivers? You mean keeping Coles makes their recievers worse???
ArmchairRedskin
What happened to all that great chemistry between Pennington and Coles?
bulldog
I think the 'trade' they are contemplating probably involves a package where Coles would be included along with draft picks to acquire another veteran receiver. I don't see anyone trading one up for Coles given his injury problems and decreasing productivity. Terry Bradway ruined this team with poor trades and poor management of the cap in the early to mid 2000's.
praise_gibbs
That's my question too, Hate. Maybe Coles and a draft pick for Branch? Or is Branch immobile owing to the NFLPA? I think I heard on ESPN last night that NE is looking for 2 1st round picks in a trade. I could be wrong since I was half asleep.
SMOSS89
I swear if the Eagles get their hands on him I'm going to seriously say that they could seriously challenge for the division title this year. I hope this isnt the case.
roanoker
Let's see, they got Coles and Ramsey from us. On our current roster we have Moss and who else from them (Jets)?
Califan007 The Constipated
Apparently Coles' attitude this year has been less-than-stellar...he's badmouthing the coaches in a roundabout way to the press...
