StillUnknown
i'm taking Gaethje to win. he hits like a truck and Tony is a notoriously slow starter with a leaky defense.
Dr. Do Itch Big
I think he means a baby girl. Cejudo was winning pretty easily. The knee was perfect.
Destino
Gaethje landed a lot of heavy strikes in that first round. Tony seemed to shake them off though. Gaethje took the 1st
StillUnknown
Ferguson's chin is saving him tonight. he's getting hit hard
Destino
Tony is taking hits you only see guys shrug off in movies. Iron chin. Gaethje has his mouth open and breathing heavy. How frustrating must it be to hit a guy flush 20 times and see him keep dancing?
StillUnknown
2-0 Gaethje but i'm not sure he can keep this pace

Destino
I don’t know how Tony is still alive, but that leg sweep followed by imaginary sand was entertaining. 3-0 this fight isn’t close.
StillUnknown
i got it 4-0 Gaethje. the fight is competitive, it is not particularly close Even though I picked him to win, i did not think Gaethje could dissect Ferguson over 5 rounds like this. this 5th round is 10-8 territory
Destino
That was as brutal a beat down as I’ve ever seen in the UFC. Tony’s light stayed on, somehow, but it looked like his body just stopped listening to his brains commands at the end. Send that man straight to the ER. StillUnknown
Gaethje didn't have this kind of discipline or fight IQ when he fought wars with Prorier & Alvarez. He's a different fighter now man. he could give Khabib some real problems
Malapropismic Depository
Yea, Gaethje was not expected to have long career originally, when he fought a more bullish style that damaged himself as much as his opponents. But now he is more calculated which makes him even more dangerous in the long run, than before

With the damage accumulated from his many wars, when it goes south for him, it will probably be ugly as hell. His rise is one of the more impressive things I've seen in recent mma. Ha, I must have been right. Not only could they hear their corners, but even the announcers like DC. At least 2 of the fighters not only heard his criticism, but implemented it, and benefited from it Hardy, Esparza thankful for hearing Cormier’s tips from UFC 249 commentary; DC responds https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2020/5/10/21253586/ufc-249-carla-esparza-greg-hardy-daniel-cormier-advice-commentary-helped-mma-news

Great finish...after mostly standing up in the first round, Moises goes straight for the takedown in the first seconds in Round 2, and finishes immediately with perfect technique. You rarely see a plan go that well. He came out with a goal in mind and got it done without a hitch.
StillUnknown
Michael Johnson has a KO win over Prorier, cleanly beat Ferguson & Barboza by decision. Yet that same fighter has some very bad losses to people who you think he would beat easily.
Destino
Rothwell’s movement is best described as Jason Voorhees. No matter what happens in an exchange he just plods forward slowly the entire time. hasn't been a great fight but its been a big guy fight. Fun to watch. Ugly Rothwell is usually #2, I think. Not a great fighter, but entertaining to watch. #3 would be like Ngannou vs Lewis. StillUnknown
Glover must have bet on himself to win by submission because he was about 2 punches away from finishing the fight with ground and pound before he went looking for the sub somebody who cares about Anthony Smith would stop this fight right about now
