Fifty Gut
Most people did or do not like Walters because of what he did at Ohio State. He is ok at a backup slot, just not as starter. Whether anyone liked him or not there was no question that he was smart in learning the system and it was said many times that he knew everyone's assignments on the line. I remember reading something where a coach or another player was saying somebody on the O-Line was having trouble learning the system and Tyson was telling them what the play was and how the play worked or something along that line. I am not sure he was a liked player by other players but that probably goes back to his Ohio State days as well.
HeHateMe
Not bad for a backup, but Im not sure he will even make your team.
Hogskin1
Just curious, But why in the blue hell would we want a Texans lineman, especially if he wasn't good enought to start. Surely you are not saying you think there is ANYONE in that Texans organization that can assess talent. It's not just Casserly that does not have a clue. Last year's coach could easily have left more talent on the bench than on the field . That is one WOEFUL outfit. Trust our guys. They apparently saw SOME level of potential. And if the guy can not step up to that potential, what have we lost???? Trust our staff.
inmate running the asylum
As has been said before, if this gives you guys depth, your o-line is about as deep as a kiddie pool. Tyson Walter is terrible. How would you know? When did you become an NFL coach.
lukhig
Not saying this is a bad signing I'm he didn't a $10 mil SB like everyone else I hope for him he at least got 6 figures LOL. Even though I know nothing about him I'm pretty sure that with all those sack records being broken by the Texans o-line(I think you want your defense breaking sack records) and he can't crack the lineuo(ouch) even though he's under 40 we probably don't want to need him in the line up. It is good however seeing more OL depth, now 2 DB's would be nice. Who knows maybe he is STeamer. OL + ST= ? :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck Prediction= NFC East= Most wins in NFL
jrockster21
So this is our o-line depthSamuels, Dockery, Rabach, Thomas, Jansen Molinara Puccino Walter Puccino Walter Does that look right to you? SHF -- there are four additional linemen on the roster at the moment, Jonta Woodard, Jim Jones, Jon Alston and Ikechuku Ndukwe. Don't know if any of those guys are going to make the roster, but Ndukwe was a monster at Northwestern...
drums and skins
Am I missing something about the Ohio State references? Do people just hate on OSU or did I miss something? Anyways, if it comes down to it, we'll release him if he doesn't cut it... atleast there's that option.

redmo002
Looks like we are going to try and get our o-line depth with free agency. Hopefully that means we will take a CB with the 2nd round draft pick.
WeownU
Because maybe... just maybe.... football men in Ashburn see something you don't in that same Texans Lineman. Maybe they see talent that wasn't utilized correctly. Maybe they see a flaw in his technique that is easily corrected. Maybe Buges sees the raw material there needed to build a capable reserve lineman. Ever thought of that? This guy is HORRIBLE. Couldn't make the cowboys team and all of you say we're horrible. Plus couldn't make the Texans team???????????????????? Oh my god, that has to tell you something. Depth or not, unless he's there to back up the waterboy, you don't need him
Warhead36
I don't know you can't put all the blame on the Texans OL. It could have something to do with David Carr. I mean it's like Drew Bledsoe. Everywhere he goes the OL always seems to stink it up. Coincidence? Besides he's just here for depth. Plus he's versatile.

GoDannyBoy
We will see. I will trust our scouting department. They have had good picks on FA since Gibbs has returned. Critz1407
I would have to say this is a solid sign. With Bulges he can whip him into shape in no time, and not to metion we didn't sign him to start, he will be a good fill in guy.
