Oprah: "So you have let men ejaculate in your face?"

Johnny, it's called the past for a reason. If a number scares you off, then you're not ready for a serious relationship.

I think that is a perfectly valid concern for someone and has nothing to do with them being ready for a serious relationship or not. In fact, I think it shows a little more insight into human nature then the avg person. Past behaviors do tend to show a person's real self to some extent.

Well to be fair, Johnny's question didn't mention unprotected sex. If it was threesomes and freaky stuff while unprotected, then I might reconsider my other argument. But I know girls who slept with a different guy pretty much every weekend in college...and now they are settled down and monogamous with their current partners, and I would have no problems dating a girl like that...

Besides...I know there are guys on here who've had one night stands...if you're having a one night stand with a chick, its probably safe to assume she's done it before. :2cents:

Myself... I wouldn't do it. Unprotected or not. I'd have a problem with it. Right or wrong.

Of course I read the title. It was Oprah: "So you...", obviously about Oprah Winfrey making more sexual comments that Howard Stern would get in trouble for. I'm not sure what your point is...the title of the thread has nothing to do with what webnarc posted...
Then again, most of those who would be offended probably wouldn't open a thread of this title!

Exactly my point.:D

But since it's on Oprah it must be ok to talk about right?

Howard Stern was right. There is a double standard in decency laws.

No arguement here. I listen to Bob & Tom every morning, and the show just isn't the same since Janet blew it and the FCC went nuts.

Here is a question for all the people here:

If you were looking for a serious relationship and started dating someone. You later find out they have slept with 90 people, had threesomes, did really freaky stuff, etc.

Would you continue to date them?

I wouldn't. I'm not too much of a prude, but that is too many partners, male or female. It speaks of underlying issues IMO. Listen to why this girl has been doing it. She's craving mail attention/companionship/intimacy. I have a theory about this, though its obviously not based on any specific knowledge. I'm guessing her father either wasn't around, didn't pay her any attention, or abused her. Any other thoughts?

Back where I was raised, we called her type trash. Can't believe Oprah went to that level.

Got some double standards going on here? A girl bangs 90 guys and she's disgusting. A dude slays 90 girls and he's a stud. Come on fellas, only thing disgusting about it is the protection thing. Way too much crap out there to catch. If a girl wants to get her freak on but keep it safe and clean more power to her. Especially if she's up front about her intentions and isn't using the POP to manipulate.

Its something that people are curious about because of the unusual factor involved. Its a point of view that I dont ascribe to but I want to hear about from someone who does. People constantly complain about morals in the country and sexually promiscous people but wont actually talk to one and see why they say they are being sexually promiscous. Its like talking about how things are going in Iraq and not talking to an Iraqi.

I dont see it as trash to hear a point of view or a lifestyle. You could talk to me about gays or show me how to put on a condom (which did occur in high school) but that does not mean I am getting "mixed messages" and would be so confused as to do it. If you are stupid enough not to know that abstience is common sense even w/out a religious component and are easily swayed by a TV show or peer pressure then get the hell out the gene pool ASAP.

EDIT: As for the thread title-- does not offend me I read plenty of Porn

I hope she never planned on getting married. She just ruined her chances if she did.

Honestly I disagree. There are definitely guys out there that would go for this. If it's an open ended relationship, and both parties are fine with it.

There have been successful marriages (meaning they stay together and are happy) where both people have sex with others. They're called swingers.

Do you like..... muscles? ;) Just kidding. I can't say I've ever heard of a woman admitting that. At least a woman who's not already in the business.

People shouldn't be ashamed about enjoying erotica.

To be honest, I would think the guy was messed up as well. If you sleep with that many people male or female I think it shows something abnormal about yourself.

However, I do agree there is a double standard but that double standard is valid IMO. Why? Because women have the power when it comes to sex and to abuse that power and manipulate other people for selfish reasons is wrong.

Dude...way uncalled for. It is not only men on this forum dude, mind yourself.

Isn't this exactly what Westbrook36 was saying about Stern?

Oprah can say "so you have let men ejaculate in your face" and I can't say vagina in the context of it looking like its had the crap kicked out of it. Unprotected sex with lots of partners, some of which finish on her face. She is a women, isn't her behaviour more offensive to women than my words?

The FCC is giving Oprah a pass.

Jockster is right on the money.

We have a fair number of Ladies as members here, and also a good number of younger members who's parents might not want them involved in such topics. The title alone could be offensive to some members.

what webnarc said was a lot lighter than some things i've read in here before. doesn't tailgate come with a warning label?

Well then call me messed up Johnny, personally I think there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with it. How many people have your single friends slept with? I have friends who've slept with well over 200 different women, that is their style. They are single, have been their whole lives, and they don't want to be tied down to a relationship. Are they "abnormal" because they don't obide by the puritan standards people such as yourself like to stygmatize society with? Hell no, they are more normal then some church goer who in holier then thou on Sundays, and spends the rest of the week telling everyone how people who are not like they are is what is wrong with society today.

It is mentality and hypocritical thinking like many of the posters here in this thread that cause this woman to feel bad about herself. If society, and people like Oprah or yourself would celebrate her lifestyle, and show how you can be a woman, have many partners, yet still be a functioning member of society. I myself prefer to have a woman who is experienced in the sack, it adds to a more spiceful sex life, and they know exactly what they want. They are a LOT more open about their sexuality, and they are a LOT more fun in the bedroom. The puritanistic view of sex is disgusting, and not having sex before marriage is as much of a joke as arranged marriages. Sex it part of a relationship, a BIG part and you should know if you are compatible in this arena before you get married, not after.

But that is the way I view the world. I think everyone should be treated with the same yardstick and I try not to hold double standards to anyone. A woman who sleeps around exposes a weakness in the male ego when they espouse their views of her as a slut. It makes males think about inadequacy in their own ability, and someone who would not be with a girl like that is probably lousy in the sack anyways. The bottome line is that every man wants to think he is the best with his wife, it is a power/ego thing, but if you can just face the fact that most likely you are not, then you will be a happier person overall. If you can understand that sex is an important part of marriage, and meeting someone who is experienced in the bedroom is a good thing for your marriage then you will be happier overall.

But then again, I will end up marrying a person who I am completely happy with on all levels. while the guys who are busy calling her a slut are probably cheating on their wives, or jerking off to porn every night with a frigid wife who wants nothing to do with sex. I will end up a happy man, and I will have an active sex live, while others will not. They will sit on message boards, post pictures of babes, and call anyone who sleeps with more then one person a slut:doh:

However, I do agree there is a double standard but that double standard is valid IMO. Why? Because women have the power when it comes to sex and to abuse that power and manipulate other people for selfish reasons is wrong.

And males don't use their "power" for manipulation? You have got to be kidding me wth this post, unfreakin believable man, look around you Johnny, that is ALL men do  . . . A person who's name is Punani posts this. . .well if the dripping irony is not as plain as day to see I don't know what is.

No, your words were WAY more offensive, and completely uncalled for. I push the edge here a lot, but saying someone who has slep with a bunch of guys has a "vagina looks like it had the crap kicked out of it" is extremely offensive. Hell, it's offensive to me, I can't imaging how some women feel about it.
