They are single, have been their whole lives, and they don't want to be tied down to a relationship. Are they "abnormal" because they don't obide by the puritan standards people such as yourself like to stygmatize society with? Hell no, they are more normal then some church goer who in holier then thou on Sundays and spends the rest of the week telling everyone how other people in society are what is wrong with it. In my defense... I said she wasn't mature because she was having unprotected sex with so many partners. That's simply inexcusable and stupid. As I said... there's someone for everybody. I hope Oprah is not going to pan this off to her viewers that this is an "ok lifestyle." There are double standards in EVERYTHING! It's how a woman can cut off her husband's penis & toss it out the window on Rte. 66 & be found NOT GUILTY for her crime & the man whose penis she cut off was found NOT GUILTY of abusing & raping his wife which drove her to cut his penis off in the first place. In the courts eyes, there was no crime committed. Unprotected sex with lots of partners, some of which finish on her face. She is a women, isn't her behaviour more offensive to women than my words? The FCC is giving Oprah a pass. Its uncalled for because a) its not only untrue its immature, and actually shows your ignorance of sex and sexual behavior, and it was way graphic in a joking manner...not cool for the females of this board. While I wouldn't rule out a woman who's experienced, there is a VERY good reason for the 'sexual double standard.' Think about this--would you think positively of Shaq or Kobe lighting up a team of 6th graders? That's pretty much what even a 'plain' woman who 'wants' sex is amongst men. Men are almost always ready to get down and don't care nearly as much about 'knowing' someone, hence the straight AND gay predilection for using prostitutes (and the gay anonymous sex has to do with unchecked male sexual impulses.) A woman going into a room and individually approaching 100 men for sex, could have 75 interested responses (even IF these men aren't single.) A man doing the same would get 75 guffaws, 5 good responses and 20 smacks in the face or knees to the groin. THAT is why there is a double standard. While we allowed it to exist, it was constantly in danger of going beyond where we wanted to go. We politely asked guys to limit it to reasonably respectful pictures. Didn't work.
