rincewind
They have to have a realistic chance of a reunion - so groups like the Beatles and the Doors are out. I know a lot of people will say Floyd, but i say screw that - i want to see:

Ellis
Jane's Addiction--but for a permanent basis with the original bass player Eric Avery and none of the BS of the last reunion with wife-drama.

Kilmer17
Any answer other than the Police is wrong. Jane's Addiction would be great, but they've been together rather recently in various forms (the tour with Flea was awesome).

rincewind
At one point i may have agreed on the Police - but Sting has really become quite a wuss. I don't think the music would have the same edge.
Captain Chaos47
Floyd without a doubt. The performance at Live 8 was great and I wanted to see more.
The Evil Genius
Of course, I could be snide and mention both U2 and Metallica, since it's obvious that others have been posing for them for the past 10 years.

Kilmer17
Yeah, I'd have to amend my vote to the Police OR GNR. It couldnt be the original lineup though. Steven Adler had a stroke years ago and doesnt play anymore.

Man, there was never more of a fraud band EVER!!!! I had the DISPLEASURE of watching them not once but twice!!! They were so horrible during the first concert I saw I actually thought it was myself, I thought I was to drunk to enjoy them. . . but then, at the second concert I left about 45 minutes in, they were THAT bad. There has never been more of a studio band ever. BTW, Floyd with Waters & Gilmore would be my choice, but I would love to see Zeppelin with Jason Bonham on drums, that would be
