Nice tat Bonef1de. I like the meaning behind it.

I just wanted to mention that a friend of mine got a tattoo of a potato chip on his shoulder....it's supposed to be the "chip on his shoulder." I know it sounds kind of dumb but it's really funny. He's also got two more that are a little more artistic.

 You need to send me a pic of that one.

Here are four of mine.

This one is on my left wrist, it goes all the way around. Celtic trinity knot

Tats005.jpg

This one is on my right wrist. Celtic Peackocks intertwined; represents unity

Tats006.jpg

This one means the most to me. The skull is a tribal whitetail deer skull. My father and I hunted all the time and it reminds me of how much we loved that time together. The one at the top is three crosses representing the holy trinity. My father was a baptist preacher so there you go. The red around the crosses represent the blood of christ.

I tell people all the time; try to avoid picking something off the wall. Take your time and chose something that means something. Most Tattoo artists would rather draw something themselves from your ideas than doing some tired piece off the wall.

I've gotten my most simple ink done so far ( if I had money, it would all be done by now):

My Italian flag ( I am half-Italian and half-Israeli -> the Israeli one is coming on the next paycheck):

DSCN0927.jpg

The cross on my forearm:

Khaos180.jpg

The words that I will be getting on my right forearm:

MARKWORDS.jpg

And I will also be getting Music is Life on my left forearm...

Payable on Death written across my upper back....

And a Skins tattoo I still can't figure out..

But I got my simplest done first.

I have a half sleeve in the works on my right arm. Its a tribal dragon on the outside of my right arm, and a graffiti dragon on the inside of my rightarm, going up into my armpit a little. Nothing too overly symbolic. Friend drew the tribal dragon for me, i got it when i was 18 in Canada... kinda spur of the moment thing. He passed on a while back, and its the only drawing of him i ever had. The graffiti dragon was done by one of my good friends who became a tatto artist's. It has a lot of negative space in the background and was done almost ten years ago. I will get pics of those up as soon as I take some.

I just got my back piece started. The same guy that did my graffiti dragon on my inner arm did my back piece. I love hyper lines and graffiti style in anything, drawings, tags, advertisements, and especially my tattoo's. I wanted a new take on something traditional. Take something old and put a new look to it kinda thing. We took a few idea's from pics in history books and he took it from there.

Im looking at two sessions of color. My next piece is gong to be a chest piece. I have a few ideas in mind but i havent made a definitive decision on what i want.

That hurts me just to look at it.

I am looking to get a feather on my back. My boyfriend...initials CH.....wanted me to get CH on my lower back. We just broke up........I guess the CH could now mean COME HERE. (I didn't get the tat.)

Got this done about a month ago. My dad's side is Cherokee, hence the shield, and my mom's side is German, so each one of the feathers has the German flag in it. The American flag in the middle is for me! :)

Sorry for the terrible quality of the picture...it was done with a cell phone.

I'm settling in for a long off-season and I've been itching to get some new ink. Anyway I want to see some of the art on my fellow ES brothers and sisters. Bring your favorites and tell me your story.

I got this piece to show my Dad that I appreciate the sacrifice he made for this country. This was taken from a photograph of my old man at Marine Corps boot camp Paris Island, SC in '66. He was on his way to 2 tours in Viet Nam.

In between the tours he served as a body escort, taking the bodies of Marines to their funerals (he was 18).

He still lives with a lot of guilt and I got this piece to show him that I'm proud of him and I love him.

Wow, you narrowly escaped that one Blondie.

Are you still planning the feather? Upper or lower back?

You will have to post in this thread when you get your back done. I heard you were in jail earlier this week. No jailhouse tattoo's i hope. ;)

I will post a pic. I want a feather like the ones on the "X" at the top of each page of EXTREMESKINS. I will have to take my laptop to the tatoo place!!

I was in "jail" for Muscular Dystrophy yesterday. I had to raise my "bail" money.....which was actually donations.

WHICH......BTW......I AM STILL ACCEPTING.

;)

I've been told the bicep is one of the more painful places to get a tattoo.

While it's different for each person, mine wasn't that bad. I really really really wanna get some sweet ass rib panels done but of what I don't know yet. Those are univerally the most painful. I'm not gonna get it until after I lose wieght though as kind of a reward.

On inside my right bicep... I've got a snake wrapping around a tibetian bell with flames all around it. Its got a kind of neo-old school flavor. Loads of bright solid colors but without the bold lines. I had a picture but I don't anymore.
