I was shocked during the game when they brought her down to the sidelines. I thought it might have been a drunk guy in the stands.. but to read all of the accounts this morning, + this from the eagles message board.... all I have to say is WOW. Of course, I was there with a few friends, and we don't look like someone's mom. Philly fans are cowards. They talk tough, but they'll only hassle women and children. The worst they'll do is throw something at your from 10 rows back. Man to man, they just curl up in a little ball and cry just like their team in the Superbowl. I'm actually sick thinking that the league would tolerate a large fan base that is so appalling.On a separate note, this, people, is why we don't do anything more than talk at the other team. Throwing beer or punches simply because somebody supports their team on your turf makes you a batterer, and I hope you would be arrested for such poor behavior. Too bad the Eagles tolerate that behavior as an organization. Why do you think they had a jail built into old Veterans Stadium? All cities have problems, but Philly is just a dump. Next time the Skins go to Philly, the DTC needs to form a large posse to go to the game to protect the moms and children of the players and fans.
