Raub
I just got a DVD of all the old Schoolhouse Rock cartoons. Talk about a blast from the past  I haven't watched the Rudolph or Frosty shows in a while, but might have to make an effort to check em out. Yeah, Rudolph is a bit of a mama's boy, but that Yukon Cornelius Griffin is a cool cat. Burl Ives' snowman is great, too. Anyhow, I am taping this. I will not be denied. Not this year, dangit.

JMac
For 25+ years I have watched "Santa and the 3 bears" and for the last 10+ years I have made it a family tradition with the kids. Anyone remember this show?
MissU28
i own rudolph on VHS! My brother and I used to watch it as kids and we were always afraid of the abominable snowman. I bought him a toy abominable snowman from the movie a few years ago for Christmas...he thought it was funny I also have the abominable snowman ornament. He's definitely my favorite character. Art Monk Fan
Dude, I've got three kids -- we've got Rudolph, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Frosty, Frosty Returns & The Little Drummer Boy all on DVD. Plus we'll tune into ABC Family for their 25 Days of Christmas -- holiday movies every evening before the kids go to bed.
stwasm
Don't be ashamed. Rudolph is one of the top holiday figures out there and has stood the test of time. I'll be watching it, too.

Although it doesn't look like they'll be showing Frosty or Frosty Returns, you can find ABC Family's schedule for their 25 Days of Christmas here: http://abcfamily.go.com/25days/index.html. Even better than the Grinch. Loved that too ... Heat Miser though hehe Is this one Rudolph's Shiny New Year? It was not the first one. The Land of Misfit Toys always seemed like a sad place to me. Final note -- sacrilege on better than the Grinch. The Grinch is all-time best, especially the poor sled dog dragging that pile of gifts up the hill.
