  1. I had a sore arm for about 12 hrs. Stomach was a little upset too. Other than that no real issues.
  2. If a player goes on IR before the 53 man cutdown, they are out for the year. Only way they play this season is if they cut an injury settlement and go sign with another team. If a player makes the 53 then gets put on IR, thanks to covid rules they can be added back to the roster after a couple weeks. At least 3 I think. I don't believe they can participate very much until you bring them off of IR, so at some point you gotta give em a roster spot or PS squad him. If the Jags don't wait and IR Travis right now, he is not playing for the Jags this season. and of course, they would not give him an injury settlement and let him walk. If they fit him onto the 53, they can then put him on IR and call him up later in the year when healed, which would make sense to do if this was like a 3 month injury timetable.
  3. If your gonna rush 5, might as well rush those 5
  4. I think its the hot seat for the GM more than anything. The Giants can least afford to have the season end before it begins if they want to keep their jobs.
  5. Protection is only from Tue deadline to gametime If some team wants a guy on your practice squad, they can get him. "Protection" only means that after Tue deadline, if you want to gameplan around calling a guy up for game day, you can rest assured you can, but it is not a "lock" that guarantees that a dude is un-poachable. If team X wants a guy, they will just take him on Monday
  6. Cam AGG and Dax have all played teams this preseason.
  7. For the second straight week Cosmi has done a consistent job of using the olinemen beside him to help minimize the effectiveness of his own rusher, without the help of the other lineman. Just purely utilizing the available space, and limiting the options of his opponent. Kids spacial awareness might be special.
  8. As long as Dax does not muff a punt in game 3, I think he has a great shot at getting the return gig over carter even tho he is a rook. Long term Hump replacement potential, and your return man. good value. I don't see them giving up on AGG, especially after dialing up designed plays for him n back to back weeks, so barring a Cam cut, I'm still at 7 Wrs.
  9. I don't think that's gonna happen 3 QBs + 9 OL + 7 WR + 3 RB + 3 TEs = 25 O players They can either have 7 Wrs or 4 Rbs or 4 TEs. Any more and your taking from the D. Unless we find a guy already on the roster to return punts, you almost have to carry Carter/Dax/Jr that leaves Terry Brown Samuel Hump as locks giving 5 if your only gonna carry six, you gotta choose between Cam and AGG, but w/ seven, you can carry both
  10. I saw AGG and Seals-Jones logging ST reps. Huge for them
  11. Pretty much Gibson and Logan can provide spot power sets, but both are players that are too important to risk mashing against jumbo packages several times a game. Teams have to be able to get a yard when the whole stadium knows your running the ball, and unless you want to kill arguably your most important offensive weapon, our roster as constructed needs a short yardage back.
  12. Man, WRs not making this easy.... Terry Samuel Hump Brown Cam is the starting outside WR until we see otherwise I'm not ready to move on from AGG Carter/Jr/Dax cuz somebody has to return punts, and they seem to be the only realistic options as Danny J will have a hard time making the roster. Short of cutting Cam how do we not carry 7 guys...
  13. That is close to where I am. I'd just drop Patterson and pick either up Sims Jr/Carter, whichever looks better moving forward, or if Dax continues to look like he can handle return duties AGG. Add RB Williams to the PS too. We will need several on tap
  14. I know a guy who may be willing to come in for Vet Min plus incentives
