I would be more than willing to move a player to the PS that does not serve a role for one that does. We can't even dress 53 on game day so there are several players that figure to be insurance anyway, any of those players would suffice. Unless one of those guys is someone you figure to be a part of your long term future. Moving players on the back of the roster back and forth is common hat for any team, and I expect us to do it at many positions over the course of the year. The exact who, does not matter too much.

Same reason we kept him on the PS. Same reason the Raiders took him. Yards do not come easy when the whole stadium knows your running the ball. That was 85% of Barber's carries. 2 YPC vs stacked boxes aint bad, its the opposite. Somebody will stub a toe/get sick or something within the next week. Problem solved Short yardage backs usage rate fluctuate wildly. They can have a game where they get 1 touch, or a game where they get 7-10. Many of those looks come against jumbo packages. As it stands we don't have anyone on the roster or PS anymore who we would want to expose them to, or can reliably physically withstand, the high end of that spectrum of carnage. Gibby and Thomas can give you a couple, but I'm not taking the crux of my O and ramming them into jumbo packages several times a game. They are too valuable to risk. Need someone who is capable of absorbing that kind of punishment.

Can confirm He is a STs Demon. Not even sugar coating it. Constantly gets by his guy as a gunner. Usually around the ball if not making the tackle. Always hustles, a must for a good STer Played on 75%(!) of the teams ST plays in 2019 so he is capable of filling multiple roles if needed in a variety of ST setups. Can't teach speed... and as we know he can Run, Run. I don't know about best in the NFL, but he is easily the best STer on our squad not named Way. Liking the PS squad so far.

I have not heard anything about Wright but some vets time there signings to skip TC and PS. Maybe that is what Wright is doing?
