Right...I guess being an asshole has it's moments so you can tell your kids & they can be proud of you. Trust me, it's rough. Especially when the 1st class seats are free (and the hotels, rental cars, food & drinks). Just help keep the peasants behind the curtain & don't try to drink my Dom Perignon.

I used to fly every week for work. I am so ****ing glad I don't have to do that anymore. Even in 1st class of most domestic airlines the legroom is atrocious when somebody pushes the seat back. One time on a vacation trip to Jamaica my wife & I were sitting in 1st class. The people in front of us both pushed their seats all the way back. We were unable to put down our tray table to put a drink/food on it. We had to tell the flight attendant to get the people to raise their seats. Once the meal was finished both people pushed the seats back all of the way. It was like their heads were resting in our laps. ****ing ridiculous. The airlines are to blame for this. The seat space is abysmal & not built for 21st century sized people. Oh...and sitting on the aisle (for more space) is horrendous when the dumb asses with backpacks walk down the aisle when boarding. Do they NOT ****ing realize when the turn their body their over sized backpack will smack me right in the cranium? Seriously, when did a ****ing backpack become a briefcase? Keep your stupid insulated cup at home, dumbass. And WTF else have you jammed in there that couldn't fit in a computer bag? Or the dumb****s that HAVE to use my headrest to sit their asses down - or pull their asses up. That's my ****ing seat not yours, FFS. I could go on - 30 years of weekly travel I'm surprised I didn't kill some people along the way...

...and Robles was coming off a pretty significant elbow/wrist injury before last year started. He missed most of the 2018 season with that injury (hurt in April, 2018 not sure when he returned). You could see the rust at the beginning of last year. He only got better at the plate, on the bases & in the field during the season. I'm really looking forward to a healthy Robles this year.

I agree. With the new story that Tony Kemp refused to join the sign stealing scam when he was called up in September 2017, it's obvious MLB did a ****ty job investigating this. MLB didn't need the players involved cooperation to figure out the cheating scam. There were plenty of players not involved that could provide information that the scheme had actually occurred. Once the players involved were identified, they should have been given 2 options: Cooperate & get a 1 year suspension; Don't cooperate & receive a lifetime ban. The Astros ****ed with the integrity of the game. That, to me, is the worst thing you can do as a player or organization. HOU fired the people who let it happen. MLB did nothing to the players who actually did the cheating. Manfred needs to resign.

A: No. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, some causing illness in people and others that circulate among animals, including camels, cats and bats. The recently emerged 2019-nCoV is not the same as the coronavirus that causes Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) or the coronavirus that causes Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). However, genetic analyses suggest this virus emerged from a virus related to SARS. There are ongoing investigations to learn more. I heard most of this conversation on the radio yesterday. I didn't realize this new coronavirus & SARS are part of the same strain. Also learned that SARS originated in horseshoe bats which bit civets that were then consumed by humans. The current coronavirus probably originates in the horseshoe bats, too. The unanswered question is what did they bite that became infected? As a former HS catcher, I'd say it's the heat of the battle - pitcher/catcher concentration is critical. They won't be distracted by a small piece of paper/plastic falling to the ground or stuck to a batters hand/glove.

In 2010 I spent 6 months at a client in Compton traveling back & forth to CA every week. We stayed at a hotel near LAX which was right next to the Lakers training facility in El Segundo. Several mornings when heading to breakfast I would see Kobe leaning against the front desk counter (this was in June/July/August). He wasn't as big as I thought - tall but thin. Every time I saw him I would wander up to the desk to pretend like I was going to ask the front desk agent a question. Kobe would look at me smile & say good morning. Nothing pretentious at all about him (well, that I could discern in a 30 second exchange 😀). Sad to think of all those people who died. Way too young. Sad.

Yeah, I didn't catch all of the details of her arrest. But, I thought I heard news channel saying she was wearing a bandana to cover her face. Which, if true, was no worse than the "hunting masks" or whatever those stupid cammo masks people wore to cover the lower half of their face. Others had similar 'skeleton' masks on as well. I think they cops didn't want to make too much of it & cause problems. Hindsight: If I was the Governor I would have banned hats, gloves & scarves within the city limits from sunup to sundown. One last thing - I only saw video on local news of 1 person - white dude, mid/early 40s - walking with a handheld sign that was anti-gun.
