    Willis looks like a less talented Vick. He’s playing against serious scrubs in all his highlights. There’s no way I’d take him.

    I feel like Ridley would be the cheapest option of the three from both a cost and draft capital perspective. He’s also more likely to play nice for touches with Mc and Samuel.

    What do folks think about Sam Hartman? It looks like his play collapsed toward the end of the season, but he looked like a pretty impressive athlete. He would make sense as a late day 2/early to mid day 3 pick. edit- scratch that, he was a redshirt junior and is going back for his senior year. Probably for the best.

    Okay, Heineke belongs in the league and would be a great back up. That said, Heineke is not special and didn’t do anything a QB looking to hang around in the league wouldn’t do. The “scrappy good hearted dude” narrative is way overdone for a guy who tried to score a beer sponsorship and sold shirts selling his own mythology. I do think he might have had a better season if our line had stayed consistently healthy, but that’s not something on which any QB can rely.

    We’re missing starters at DE, S, LB (x2), and CB. I don’t blame the coaches in this one game. We were set up to fail in this game.

    It kind of speaks to how dumb some of this team is considering the Cowboys, who were in close contact for hours with our players, aren’t in the same position.

    35-13, Eagles. We are only a few players off from fielding an all practice squad defense, and Heineke has shown he can’t compete in shoot-outs or overcome large deficits.

    This is going to be a blowout. It was a matter of time. This team is not built for this game.

    I feel as though this team is losing steam. I see us losing 27-17.

    Forgive me, but isn’t Parsons supposed to be a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, not a DE?

    He was DROY and has pretty incredible physical attributes. He’ll be returning to a defense seeing fewer lapses in the secondary and among our LBers. He made a mistake and didn’t focus in the off-season, and should have an opportunity to make up for this. No one, outside of this forum, questions his work ethic.

    Chase Young will be great next year, even if he was mostly mediocre this year. He wasn’t the reason our D was atrocious prior to the bye. Our D gave up way more yards and points to the Bucs when he left the game. Dude is a net positive.
