(nothing to do w trump policies, actually an Obama policy that DUIs = threat to public = deportation) Mom (undocumented) of 2 kids (who were born in the US), married, is being deported bc she pled guilty to a DUI. For a first time DUI? Now the kids wont have their mom to hep raise them? She has been held on a detainer since July. I get the need to deport undocumented ppl who pose a threat to the public and there are many .. but a mom who worked cleaning hotels, worked for immigrant activism, US born kids, no priors ....... arent these the ppl that we want in this country. Ppl that work and pay taxes, contribute in a positive way, ppl that are family .. just good people. She and Jimenez, who is also undocumented, got married, had two kids and settled in Virginia. He worked as a trucker; she cleaned hotel rooms. Wiley - im not giving up on him. he has been so injured and has missed so much time that Im not holding it against him bc he looks rusty or out of rhythm when he did play a few games this year. Like Gill, I think and hope Wiley will contribute at some point this year to some wins. He did make some 3s this year. I dont think he protects the ball well when he has it but he ha splayed so few mins that its hard to gauge him. Cowan - back to back tough games for him. Against Iowa he would seem to drive with no pre determined plan and would turn the ball over or he wouldnt have an outlet pass when the D collapsed on him. Kinda like what teams do to melo. Melo - thank goodness for Melo the last 2 games. IMO he was the diff btw losing and losing against Iowa and Rutgers. With cowan struggling, I didnt see a lot of cowan with the ball for the final 10 mins of last nights game. I wonder if he is hitting wall due to fatigue, freshman in college, not used to long travelling to games. Jackson - I think Turgs need to run some set plays for him. He also was driving the lane last night with no real predetermined plan and was hoping that by just driving the lane something would happen. great win last night. A member of the BGF "accidently" gets released from jail. I went through booking at Balt City's central booking and there was a guy in there with a cell phone and pills ... after you get down to your undies and searched. he said the guard he kinda knows and the guard sd he was getting off soon so he didnt care. all the young drug runner stand on the corner kids looked up to him as he called in orders from the cell. Fast forward to 23 hours later, he is getting released about the same time as I am and we are in 2 connected but separate cells and he is openly rolling a joint.

If we didnt land Jackson, Gill would probably be starting. Tough to play well when you get spot minutes. Having Gill is a luxury imo. Imagine if we didnt land Gill and Jackson bc that was a real possibility for a moment .... micah thomas might be playing (is he red shirting?). Even little parts are important to the running of the machine. Gill plays a part. He is spending his final year of eligibility playing in a diminished role that I dont think he anticipated.

Bohannon - i dont like to single out college kids negatively, but Iowa has a big prob on their hands bc he cant guard quick guards. He was an absolute liability on D. They cannot play man D with him in there bc melo/cowan type players will breeze right by him. They have to play zone to protect him and its tough to have 1 player basically handicap your D. beating zone D - turgeon said it early in the season when we were struggling against zone that our guys will start making shoots and stretching zone and making teams pay for playing zone ... and he was right (at least for last night.) I still think if a team wants to slow us down or change MO, they just switch to 1-3-1 zone and take advantage of the few mins it takes for us to adjust. Ill tell you what not to do. Dont go on a cross country road trip from Md to CA, let your buddy take over the wheel and then have you fall asleep only to be woken up to your buddy saying "dude wake up". Once your blurry eyes open and focus you realize its 2 am and your at some itty bitty lil border crossing police station in the middle of the desert and there is a german sheppard barking and half way through the driver side window. Your panic only heightens when you realize there is a half smoked bowl sitting in plain view. The officers ask what you were doing in Mexico, you tell them you never entered mexico ... they laugh (bc apparently you did). You get taken into their tiny station and put in a tiny cell with a bucket for a toilet. Literally a **** stained bucket. Youve been detained in 5 different states and have never seen it this bad. As the police search your car they intermittently come in with things they are finding. one time they come into the station with your brand new glass pieces you just bought in alburquerkee. They next time they come in with a half pound of crappy middies you had and proceed to make fun of you for having dirt product. So far so good, they are trying to scare you but you can kinda tell it might be alright. Your buddy is really good at jokes and he is on point with it, you and the cops are bonding. Then they come in, the mood instantly changes and say "well you boys ****ed up now. what were you doing in mexico? were you robbing people?" they go on to say how this is serious, they dont believe you, they think you were lying to them etc ... you have zero clue what they are talking about. Re Melo's trouble w turning over the ball on dribble drives -- the announcer said it best after Melo drove the ball then lost it -- he is anticipating contact that isnt coming. Turg and Melo need to sit down and watch a ton of tape and adjust bc teams are being coached to do the same thing -- stay back, dont let Melo create contact and wait for him to elevate. This is a coachable thing imo. I really think Melo is picking up his dribble too soon. Its like once he gets in the paint, he thinks he can just elevate and a defender will foul him. Also ... melo cant jump.

You didnt have "obamacare" in the sense that your health insurance company wasnt called "obamacare" but a priv health ins fund subsidized by the Fed govt. But you know that lol ... I have health through my employer with a 4k deductible. I basically pay over $500 a month for insurance that requires me to pay every thing out of pocket bc I never reach my deductible. I have BCBS and I avoid doctors as mush as possible. Im sure once I get cancer or something serious where I reach my deductible, my health ins will drop me ... My lady is on medicaid and I wish I had that vs my plan. I should probably switch my daughter back to her bc I would probably save more money in not paying her deductibles on my priv plan vs how much I save as claiming her as a dependent. One of the "problems" with ACA was that a lot of people who didnt have medicaid but qualified for it, were forced to sign up through the market place. I signed up my lady to get her subsidized through the marketplace but she qualified for medicaid instead. Trumps tax plan limits my single parent child deductible anyway ... Im the poster child for getting screwed it seems.
