Bridgewater had at least 2 concussions this year and wasn't he almost paralyzed? Not saying he won't be ready to go next season but you have to have a rookie behind him if you go that route. Otherwise it'll just be a repeat of this year and we'll be watching Heinicke finish the season.

Mask mandates are done in my area. Kids in school don't have to wear masks as of Monday. The main ski resort has zero restrictions right now. The Tram holds 100 people bunched together... which is definitely sketchy. The Tram is actually empty for most of the day because people are scared of covid. (I'm still not riding that thing) All while covid is spiking in this area. I work for a company that serves a few businesses with basic tech/installation/IT, etc. Every store is struggling with a combination of the weather and people out with covid. The grocery stores are basically empty right now because there aren't enough people to stock the shelves. (and trucking issues) I actually went to the receiving dock of a store I didn't work for and helped receive a $50,000 order of dairy products because the only manager on duty was the one guy working the meat counter while the driver was about to bail. Crazy times. Kinda a disaster, but I think the mandates were lifted because of a high vaccine rate in this area? (Teton County, WY) However, we get people visiting from all over and plenty of folks commute here for work from Idaho and surrounding small towns in WY where no one cares about covid.

What difference does it make? We had the #2 overall pick and drafted the best defensive prospect in history. He played terrible this year and got hurt. You really worried we're going to miss the next Jamin Davis?

Carr would take a significant haul and needs a new contract. Trade up for a rookie.

Not having a kicker for half the season was extremely significant. Hard to notice with everything going on but wow what a difference with a guy that can hit something.

The biggest problem with Carr is the Raiders signed him to a big deal and then he followed that up with his 2 worst seasons. I'm sure that makes LV hesitant to do it again. For our team, I think Carr would get crushed in the pocket but depends on if our line can stay together. And on paper, Carr has only 20 passing TDs, same as Heinicke with 1 more game. He's certainly no-where near the top 3. He's only thrown more then 30 TDs once in his career despite having solid stats overall.

Taysom Hill is balling out this year IMO. And if he's the starter next season his hybrid contract gets him paid starting QB money. Even a guy like Hill doesn't come cheap in the NFL.

Derek Carr will cost multiple first-round picks and certainly won't play without a new contract. (or at least that'll be the asking price) He might be worth that. I don't think a first round pick has value these days compared to a starting QB. (especially considering the one's we draft) Its not a question of what Carr is worth, but moreso if we can target someone better or trade up for a rookie.

He's a backup QB we signed off the street. How many of those would you like starting for this team?

Our players are constantly injured because they're not that good. It's not a luck or preparation thing. (at least not solely those things) E.g. We signed William Jackson and he wasn't healthy. It doesn't mean he's going to get healthier and play better at some point. It means we shouldn't have signed him or we gambled and lost.

They've been lining up Cox on the L and Hargrave on the R this year. Cox is going to see lots of Ismeal/Charles(RG?) Hargrave is tearing it up this year but should be lining up mostly in front of Flowers all game. Either way... whomever starts at QB is going to have a rough time standing in the pocket.
