I definitely feel like someone is going to trade up for Willis as he has the best athletic/playmaking ability and runs sub 4.40 which is ridiculous for a QB. Or maybe Houston just takes him at #3. Mills looked decent but doesn't mean they don't want to upgrade if someone is there. On our squad, I dunno. I feel like he'd have to sit for a while and might not be the best NFL ready guy. Corrall/Pickett/Howell all have at least 3 years starting experience and I'm assuming played against tougher competition.

Nothing 100% concrete but after he missed those games mid-season Ron admitted he was dealing with a knee issue during the offseason that flared up rather then a new injury. But to the eye, he just didn't look right. Watch the Demarcus Robinson TD week 6 against KC before he missed weeks 7 and 8. Robinson put him on the ground with a swat. Looked embarrassing. And if you read between the lines a but there was definitely a reason the Bengals let him walk.

Jackson was playing hurt for the majority of the season. Absolutely was not a scheme thing as he was horrid in both man and zone in the beginning of the year. Bengals let him walk for a reason. That being said, he's our #1 CB if he's healthy and hopefully will have a bounceback year.

Justify drafting anything besides a QB for this team. We drafted the top defensive player in the draft, We have a D-Line of first round picks and then went LB. With all those guys playing we had the worst defense in the league and couldn't stop anything. Draft a QB. Draft another one in 2023.

Seeing lots of trade Payne/Sweat... Not that I disagree; especially if we're talking QB, but trading away players when their value is low isn't the best strategy. (generally you want the opposite) We could resign these guys for way cheaper or extend their 5th season where they'll be playing on contract years. Just a thought.

I didn't say Howell is some bust or a worse prospect then Pickett either. Just said he has a mechanical issue in the way he throws the ball. I have a feeling someone will trade up for Willis and we'll be picking between Pickett/Howell/Ridder. (chance Corrall slips in this draft too, he's also a bit small) Are you drafting Howell over Pickett? I personally don't see much that elevates Howell over Pickett besides the hand-thing. Though Howell did play in his bowl-game vs Pickett sitting his out for draft status.

Let's not pretend Sam Howell is on these guys level as a prospect. Rodgers is from a different era but Mahomes had like 5000yd 50TD seasons in college. I wasn't really looking at the rushing stats as much because I don't see him as that type of QB in the NFL but he is in same status as Willis as a rusher. Both QBs also lead the NCAA in sacks taken. (its not solely an offensive line thing as much as the offenses they run) If Howell were a bit bigger he'd be consensus top 2-3 easy. At his size, he'll be lumped with everyone else in the top 5.

I don't think that's the consensus yet. Howell just declared. On paper, Howell had a down year though. I can see some clear mechanical issues with Howell. He pats the ball before he throws it every time. He'll need to clean that up in the pros. Pickett doesn't have a traditional release either; he kinda flings the ball, but not sure if that's correctable. Think its just his style.

He's not even a backup but 3rd string on the Vikings. Pretty bad sign they started Sean Mannion over him.

Huntley is a ERFA and I don't see why Baltimore would be dying to get rid of him. No doubt Baltimore would drive the price up with this QB market.
