The movie with Rourke, DeNiro, and Bonet is called Angel Heart. I just watched it a few months ago. One of the darkest, screwed up movies out there. I haven't read the book so I don't know how faithful the film is.
So everyone goes down to spring traing except the two guys in the booth? Why is this becoming a trend in MLB? I believe it was the Angels that did some cheap crap like this during the season, not sending their booths out on road games.
This Swift stuff is beyond viral now, kind of creepy fr. This morning I got an "inspirational" email from UMGC about Taylor Swift and her "resilience through adversity". Like huh?
I honestly think the new DC logo and the block letters look ok but they should be combined as the alternate. I don't like the pullover at all...not a fan of pullovers as a uniform in general.
Nike is going to screw up baseball uniforms now with absurd made up rules about having limited time for each. Same thing happened to the NBA, can't even identify some teams by their traditional colors or logos because they change so often.
70 is the new 40. Scoring inflation and inflated efficiency due to increased possessions (jacking up shots, rules against defense) within 48 minutes. It's crazy that 60 or 70+ points in a game means nothing now.
